Why choose an Audi A8 over an S-Class?
Mostly for what it doesn’t say. The A8 is long, low and plain in the best sense. It pulls up at a ministry car park or a hotel entrance without anyone turning to look. For some passengers, that’s exactly the point.
On space there’s little in it. The long-wheelbase A8 L has a 3,122 mm wheelbase, 130 mm longer than the standard A8 and about 9 cm shorter than the long S-Class. Two adults get generous legroom in the back either way.

What is the A8 L relaxation seat?
It’s Audi’s top rear-seat option, fitted behind the front passenger in the A8 L. According to Audi, the package includes:
A footrest on the back of the front passenger seat
that warms and massages the soles of your feet, at several intensities.

from 18 pneumatic cushions in the seat.
Electrically adjustable comfort headrests
for sleeping upright.

After a 14-hour flight, a foot massage on the way from DXB to the hotel is hard to beat. Not every A8 has the relaxation seat, and the standard-wheelbase A8 doesn’t offer it. If it’s the reason you’re booking, ask when you enquire and we’ll confirm what the car on your date has.
Is the Audi A8 being discontinued?
Audi stopped taking new A8 orders in Germany on 18 February 2026, and the motoring press reported it as the start of the model’s wind-down. Audi has said a successor is possible but hasn’t confirmed one. The current generation (the D5, launched in 2017 and updated in 2021) stays on the road for years yet. For chauffeur work nothing changes: the car you book is the same A8.

Audi A8 with Chauffeur in Dubai: frequently asked questions
The A8 is priced in our first-class sedan class with the S-Class and 7 Series. Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) put an S-Class transfer at about AED 400–500 and a full day at AED 1,400–2,500, so expect the A8 in that range. Our rates are on the pricing page.
The A8 L is the long-wheelbase version, 130 mm longer between the wheels, and all of that goes to rear legroom. It’s also the only version with the relaxation seat and foot massager. For chauffeur work, the A8 L is the one to ask for.
