Bus rental in Dubai with driver covers everything from a 13-seat high-roof van to a 53-seat coach. We arrange minibuses and coaches with a licensed bus driver, and one fixed price includes fuel, Salik tolls, parking and 5% VAT. On published Dubai rate cards (September 2026), a full day runs from about AED 550–700 for a 12–15 seat van to AED 1,000–1,800 for a 50-seat coach.

You can book a bus for a single transfer, a half day (5 hours), a full day (10 hours) or a monthly staff transport contract. For groups under 13, a van with driver is the better fit. If the group needs to look the part, see luxury bus rental.

Bus rental and coach rental mean the same thing here, and so do bus hire and coach hire. Whatever you call it, the bus always comes with its driver. Driving a bus in the UAE needs a bus licence, so nobody rents one self-drive.

Which bus size fits your group?

Count people first, then suitcases, then pickup points. The luggage is where most group bookings go wrong: a Toyota Coaster seats 22 or more but has almost nowhere to put 22 suitcases.

The planning rules we use every day:

Airport groups with suitcases

take a bus with a luggage hold, or book the next size up and leave rows empty for bags. Twenty-six people off a long-haul flight fit a 35-seat coach, not a 26-seat Coaster.

Several hotels

each extra pickup adds 10–20 minutes in Dubai traffic. Above three or four hotels, two smaller buses on separate loops are often faster than one big one.

Hotel and venue driveways

some forecourts in Downtown, DIFC and on the Palm can’t take a full-size coach, so it stops at a coach bay or a side road. A minibus usually gets to the door.

More than 53 people

two coaches, not one bigger bus. They leave together and we track both.

The minibus rental page goes model by model through the 13–30 seat range.

How much does it cost to rent a bus in Dubai?

On published Dubai rate cards from September 2026, a bus with driver costs about AED 550–700 for a full day in a 12–15 seat van, AED 650–1,100 for a 22-seat minibus, AED 750–1,600 for a 30–35 seat coach and AED 1,000–1,800 for a 45–53 seat coach. One-way transfers cost less.

Market ranges from published Dubai bus rate cards, read September 2026. Our own rates are in the rate table on this page.

What moves the price:

  1. Hours. Most operators sell a 5-hour half day and a 10-hour full day. Extra hours run at about AED 100–120 each.
  2. Leaving Dubai. Trips to Abu Dhabi or the northern emirates usually add about AED 100 per trip, or become a full day at about AED 1,400–1,800 for a coach. See bus rental in Abu Dhabi.
  3. Dead mileage. A coach starting in Jebel Ali for a 7am pickup in Deira costs the operator an hour before your first passenger boards.
  4. The week. Exhibition weeks and December fill up early. GITEX Global runs 7–11 December 2026 at Expo City Dubai, a few days after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (3–6 December), and buses go fast that fortnight.

Our price includes the driver, fuel, Salik, parking and VAT. The full breakdown by bus size, with what counts as extra, is in our guide to bus rental prices in Dubai.

What people rent buses for in Dubai

Staff transportation

daily runs between staff accommodation and sites, hotels, warehouses or offices, on shift times, usually on a monthly contract.

Exhibitions and conferences

hotel-to-venue loops for delegates at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City Dubai. See exhibition and conference transport.

Weddings and events

guests moved from two or three hotels to the venue and back, timed to the programme. Pair the coach with a wedding car for the couple.

Airport groups

tour groups, sports teams and incentive trips collected at DXB or DWC, with a name board in arrivals. Smaller parties go by airport transfer.

School and university trips

day trips to museums, parks and sports fixtures, with the pickup and return times fixed in advance.

City tours and day trips

Old Dubai and Downtown in a day, or a group day out to Abu Dhabi, Hatta or Al Ain.

Monthly bus rental for staff transport

For staff transport, a monthly contract is cheaper than booking day by day. It also means the same bus and, where possible, the same driver every shift. A published Dubai rate card puts a 20–33 seat minibus from about AED 10,500 a month.

We plan the route around your shifts rather than around the bus. The quote needs four things:

  1. Headcount per shift, not the total headcount. Two shifts of 25 need one 30-seat bus doing two runs, not a 53-seater.
  2. Pickup points. Staff accommodation in areas such as Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, Dubai Investments Park, Muhaisnah or Al Qusais, and the drop-off site.
  3. Shift start and finish times, and the days of the week.
  4. The contract length and whether you need spare capacity for peak weeks.

You get one monthly VAT invoice. If the managers need cars as well, a monthly chauffeur can go on the same corporate account.

Bus, minibus or several vans?

Take a group of 20. You could book one minibus, one coach or three vans. The right answer depends on who’s travelling and where they’re going.

For a school trip or a staff run, book the minibus. For an airport group with luggage, book the coach. For a board and their guests, book vans, or a luxury bus with a Mercedes S-Class for the most senior guest.

How to rent a bus with driver in Dubai

  1. Send the details on WhatsApp (+971 55 500 7952) or through the booking form: the date, headcount, number of large suitcases, pickup points and the rough schedule.
  2. Get a fixed quote with the bus size we recommend. If two smaller buses would work better than one big one, we’ll say so.
  3. Confirm and pay by card, cash in AED, or bank transfer for companies.
  4. Receive the driver’s name, mobile and the bus plate before the day. For events with several buses, one dispatcher tracks all of them.

On the day, the driver waits at the coach park or bay closest to your pickup and comes to the door when you call. At the airport, the name board is in arrivals.

Rules on board

Every bus we arrange is a licensed passenger bus with a licensed bus driver. These house rules keep the day running on time:

One person per seat.

The bus carries only as many passengers as it has seats. Nobody stands.

Seatbelts on wherever they're fitted.

Children need the right restraints for their age; tell us at booking.

No alcohol on board

, and eat only if the organiser has cleared it with us. Cleaning a coach between jobs takes it off the road.

The schedule is the driver's instruction.

Changes on the day go through the organiser, so 40 people don’t give the driver 40 different stops.

Areas we cover

We send buses anywhere in Dubai, from Jebel Ali, Dubai South and Expo City to the Dubai World Trade Centre, Downtown, Deira and Dubai Silicon Oasis. We also pick up inside Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, and run group trips to every emirate. Bus hire in Dubai for a day trip to the capital is priced as a route; see bus rental in Abu Dhabi.

Yes. We arrange minibuses and coaches on monthly contracts, planned around your shift times and pickup points, with one VAT invoice a month. Send us the headcount per shift, the pickup areas and the shift times for a quote.

For an ordinary weekday, a few days is usually enough. For exhibition weeks, December and big event weekends, book two to three weeks ahead, because full-size coaches are the first vehicles to sell out.
