Choose the type of transport you need

A Dubai World Trade Centre transfer takes you from your hotel, office or the airport to the gate nearest your hall, and back at the end of the show day. DWTC sits on Sheikh Zayed Road at the Trade Centre Roundabout, which DWTC puts at about 10–15 minutes’ drive from DXB. We plan every drop-off by hall as well as by address, as part of our exhibition and conference transport service.

The venue’s official name is the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, but everyone in Dubai calls it the Trade Centre or DWTC.

Which gate for which hall?

DWTC is a long complex with several entrances, and it’s easy to be dropped at the wrong end. The named gates are the Convention Gate, the Exhibition Gate and two Za’abeel Entrances, with the halls strung along Concourse 1, Concourse 2 and the two Za’abeel Concourses. DWTC’s own guidance on which side serves which halls:

Your hallSide of the venueNearby car parks (DWTC guidance)
Halls 1–4, Trade Centre Arena, Sheikh Saeed Halls 1–3Concourse 1Rashid Tower
Halls 5–8, Sheikh Rashid Hall, Sheikh Maktoum HallExhibition Plaza and Exhibition StreetExhibition Street, Exhibition Plaza
Za’abeel Halls 1–6Za’abeel Concourses, on the Za’abeel sideZa’abeel Plaza, Al Mustaqbal Street

Private chauffeur cars use the same marked drop-off points as taxis and ride-hailing cars. Tell us the show and your hall number when you book, and the chauffeur heads for the drop-off on that side. If your badge collection or first meeting is in a different hall from your stand, tell us that too.

Getting to DWTC on show days

On the opening morning of a big show, the roads around the Trade Centre Roundabout slow right down, and Sheikh Zayed Road’s normal rush hour does the rest. What works:

Leave earlier than the map says

allow extra time on opening day, when badge collection and first-timers add to normal rush-hour traffic.

Approach from the right side

for the Za’abeel Halls we come in on the Za’abeel side, near Za’abeel Plaza, instead of joining the queue on the Sheikh Zayed Road side.

Use the Metro when it's faster

World Trade Centre station on the Red Line serves the venue directly. If traffic stops, we can drop you at a station on the line and you finish the trip by train.

Stay close

hotels in DIFC, Downtown and along Sheikh Zayed Road are a short drive away, which makes daily transfers quick outside the peak hour. See our DIFC chauffeur service.

Arriving from the airport straight to a show? The chauffeur tracks your flight, meets you in arrivals and can hold your luggage in the car while you register, if you’re on hourly hire.

Is there parking at Dubai World Trade Centre?

Yes. DWTC has six paid car parks and two free car parks, about 7,530 spaces in total, plus valet. The free parking is opposite the Convention Tower. Named car parks include Za’abeel Plaza, Exhibition Plaza, Exhibition Street, Al Mustaqbal Street and Rashid Tower.

With a chauffeur, you don’t need to think about parking. The car drops you at the gate, then waits in a car park or nearby and comes back when you call. Our DWTC parking guide covers the best car park for each hall and what to do when they fill.

Pickups at the end of show days

When the halls close, everyone leaves at once. DWTC’s taxi rank is in the Transportation Hub north of Al Mustaqbal Street, reached by a footbridge from the Convention Gate, and at closing time much of the show heads for it.

A booked car avoids that queue. This is how we run end-of-day pickups:

  1. Agree a pickup point in advance. Pick the side of the venue nearest your hall.
  2. Message the chauffeur when you leave your stand. Not when you reach the door. Walking out of the Za’abeel Halls takes a few minutes.
  3. The car comes forward from where it’s waiting. It arrives as you do instead of circling.
  4. Evening plans stay flexible. On hourly hire, the same car takes you from the show to dinner and back to the hotel.

For exhibitor teams, we run daily vans from the hotel in the morning and back at close, on the same timetable every day of the show.
