How many passengers and suitcases fit in a Cadillac Escalade?
Six passengers and four large suitcases is the honest limit. The standard-length Escalade keeps its boot behind the third row, and with that row in use, four checked cases fit with soft bags on top. Add a fifth big case and something ends up on a lap.
Rules of thumb from our dispatch desk:
- With four adults and five or six cases, fold part of the third row and the luggage lies flat.
- With six adults on a long run to Abu Dhabi or Al Ain, seat the tallest people in the middle row. The third row is fine across town.
- Children need their own seat. We can fit child seats and boosters, so tell us ages when you book.
- Golf bags, prams or a folding wheelchair change the maths. Mention them up front and we’ll confirm the fit or suggest a longer car.
Cadillac also builds a long-wheelbase version, the Escalade ESV. The current one is about 38 cm longer, and that length goes to luggage space. It’s the same size as the Chevrolet Suburban, so for six people with six big cases we’ll quote the Suburban.
From the back seat, the Escalade feels calm. The 6.2-litre V8 is barely working at motorway speed, and Magnetic Ride Control adjusts the dampers constantly, so hotel speed bumps and the joints on Sheikh Zayed Road stay outside the cabin. Bottled water and Wi-Fi are in every car.
Where does an Escalade with driver make sense in Dubai?
It earns its rate on trips where the car is part of the occasion, or where six people would otherwise split across two sedans.
Airport arrivals with family

The Escalade’s height and grille suit a hotel forecourt. The chauffeur parks nearby and comes back when you message, so nobody queues at the taxi rank at 1 a.m.

Escalade, Yukon Denali or Suburban: which should you book?
Book the Escalade when the arrival matters and the Yukon Denali when you only need the space. Both sit on the same General Motors full-size SUV platform with a V8, and we book both for six passengers and four cases. The difference is the cabin finish and the look at the kerb. The Suburban is the long-body relative for extra luggage.

Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) put a large SUV such as the Escalade at about AED 1,300–2,000 for a full ten-hour day. Airport transfers and Abu Dhabi runs are priced per route as one fixed figure. Our current SUV rates are on the pricing page, and hourly hire has a three-hour minimum.
Six passengers with four large suitcases. With five or fewer, part of the third row folds and more luggage fits. For seven passengers we’d send a Chevrolet Suburban, and for eight a Toyota HiAce VIP van. Babies and toddlers count as passengers because each needs a seat.
Yes. We run fixed-price transfers to both, and we also pick up inside Abu Dhabi and Sharjah for hourly hire. Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Al Ain are quoted per route. Fuel and Salik tolls stay inside the price.
