What does a chauffeur service in Dubai include?

A chauffeur service includes the car, the chauffeur and everything needed to run the booking, priced as one number before you confirm. With us that means:

A vetted chauffeur

suited, English-speaking, and briefed on your plan, addresses and timings before pickup.

The car class you booked

confirmed in writing. Book an S-Class and an S-Class arrives, cleaned and checked, with water and Wi-Fi on board.

Fuel, Salik and parking

every toll gate, airport parking and fuel are inside the price. Nothing gets added at the end of the day.

Waiting and stops

on hourly and daily hire the car waits outside meetings, shops and restaurants, and you add stops as you go.

Flight tracking

for airport pickups the chauffeur follows your flight and waits in arrivals with a name board, with 45–60 minutes free.

24/7 dispatch

a 4 a.m. pickup costs the same as a 4 p.m. one. No surge pricing and no night surcharge.

Chauffeur hire in Dubai: transfer, hourly, full day or monthly?

Pick the booking type by how long the car needs to stay with you. If it only has to get you from A to B, book a transfer. If it has to wait, book time.

BookingHow it’s pricedMinimumBest for
TransferFixed price per routeOne tripAirport arrivals, hotel to meeting, a dinner reservation
Hourly hirePer hour, car stays with you3 hoursSeveral meetings, shopping, an evening out
Half day or full day5-hour or 10-hour block5 hoursBusiness days, sightseeing, an Abu Dhabi day trip
MonthlySet hours a day, set days a week1 monthDaily commute, family driver, executives on assignment

A useful rule from dispatch: two legs with a long gap in between (to a show, then home three hours later) usually cost less as two transfers. Three or more stops, or waiting you can’t predict, is where hourly hire pays off, because the car is already there when you walk out.

For a chauffeur every working day, see the monthly driver service. For a dedicated driver across a week’s stay, see private driver in Dubai.

Choosing the right chauffeur-driven car

Choose by passengers and luggage first, then by the impression you want to make. A mistake we see often: four adults with four large cases booking a sedan. It won’t fit. Book an SUV or a van.

A luxury chauffeur service in Dubai usually means one of the top three rows; the Rolls-Royce and Bentley end is for occasions. Every model, with photos and limits, is on the fleet page.

How to choose the best chauffeur service in Dubai

The best chauffeur service in Dubai for you is one that sends the car you booked, on time, with a driver who knows the city, at the price you agreed. Every licensed operator’s chauffeurs hold an RTA permit, which requires training, a medical and a background check. That’s the legal floor. Here’s what separates good from average.

Vetting and paperwork

Ask any company whether its chauffeurs hold the RTA limousine permit and drive licensed limousines, not private cars. It’s the difference between an insured, legal hire and a favour from someone with a car. Every car we send is an RTA-licensed limousine, and every chauffeur holds the permit.

Dress and punctuality

A chauffeur should be in a suit, at the pickup before the booked time, and parked where you can see the car. For airport pickups, that means inside arrivals with your name on a board, not circling the kerb.

English and communication

You should get the chauffeur’s name, mobile and plate before pickup, and a message when they’re outside. All our chauffeurs speak English; if you need another language, ask and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can match it.

Route knowledge

Dubai’s main roads fill up at the same times Salik’s peak tolls apply: 6–10 a.m. and 4–8 p.m., Monday to Saturday. A good chauffeur knows when to take Al Khail Road instead of Sheikh Zayed Road, which DIFC building has the easier drop-off, and which Dubai Mall entrance is nearest your restaurant.

Discretion

Calls made in the back seat stay there. Conversation happens if you start it. No photos of clients, no talk about who else was in the car last week.

On the company side, look for a fixed price in writing, the vehicle class named in the confirmation, clear cancellation terms and a proper VAT invoice. If any of those are missing, keep looking.

Chauffeur services in Dubai for business, families and events

Chauffeur services in Dubai tend to fall into six groups of clients, and each needs a slightly different car and plan.

Business days

meetings across DIFC, Business Bay and Dubai Internet City with the car waiting outside each one. See corporate chauffeur service.

Families

a V-Class or SUV with child seats fitted if you ask, for a day out, a hotel move or an airport run with too many bags for a taxi.

Shopping days

Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and the Gold Souk in Deira, with bags dropped in the car between stops.

Tourists and first-time visitors

a full day with a private chauffeur, from Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall and the Dubai Frame to the old town, the Creek and Palm Jumeirah, with the car waiting at each stop. See the private city tour, our VIP travel guide to Dubai and when to visit Dubai by season.

Events and evenings

galas, concerts and dinners, with the car at the door when you leave. See event transportation.

Weddings

a Rolls-Royce or Bentley for the couple, dressed with ribbons and flowers, and sedans or vans for the family. See wedding car hire.

Where our chauffeurs drive: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah

We cover all of Dubai, from Jebel Ali and Expo City in the south-west to Deira, Mirdif and Silicon Oasis in the east. The busiest pickup areas are Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay and Palm Jumeirah; every area we cover is on the locations page.

We also run a full local service inside Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, so the car can start a booking there as well as finish one:

Abu Dhabi

the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is about an hour’s drive from Dubai Marina, and closer to 90 minutes from central Dubai. See chauffeur service in Abu Dhabi.

Sharjah

close on the map, but Dubai to Sharjah can take more than an hour at weekday rush hour on Al Ittihad Road. See chauffeur service in Sharjah.

Other emirates

transfers to Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Al Ain. See chauffeur service across the UAE.

How do I book a chauffeur in Dubai?

Send your pickup, drop-off (or the hours you need), date, time, passengers and bags on WhatsApp to +971 55 500 7952. We reply with a car class and one fixed price, usually within minutes.

  1. Send the details by WhatsApp, phone or the booking form. For airport pickups, include the flight number.
  2. Get a fixed price with the vehicle class named.
  3. Confirm, and pay cash in AED, by credit or debit card in the car, or by bank transfer on a corporate account.
  4. Receive your chauffeur’s details: name, mobile number and plate, before pickup.

Planning a day with multiple stops? List them in order with rough times and we’ll price the hours and route before you confirm. A few hours’ notice is enough for sedans and SUVs on most days. Book Rolls-Royce, Bentley and stretch limousines at least 24 hours ahead. Cancellation is free up to 6 hours before pickup (24 hours for Rolls-Royce and Bentley). All rates are on the prices page.

Chauffeur or driver: what's the difference?

A chauffeur is a professional driver who comes with a licensed luxury car and works for you for the booked trip or hours: dressed for the job, trained for passenger service and paid to wait. A “driver” in Dubai often means someone who drives your own car, which some companies sell as a safe-driver or car-movement service.

We only provide the first. If you searched for a driver because you don’t want to drive, a chauffeur-driven car hire is usually the simpler booking: one price, no insurance questions and no car of your own to worry about.

Chauffeur, self-drive or ride-hailing?

Book a chauffeur when the car has to wait, carry a family’s luggage or look right on arrival. Rent a self-drive car when you hold an accepted licence and want a car for days. Take a taxi or an app ride for short trips on your own.

Self-drive looks cheapest until you add the deposit, the insurance excess, Salik charged back with fees and the time spent parking. App rides look cheap until the fourth stop of the day. For a day with several stops, a chauffeur is often cheaper per useful hour, and you never stand at a kerb in August waiting for a car.

Chauffeur Service in Dubai: frequently asked questions

A chauffeur with a business sedan costs about AED 90–120 an hour, or AED 600–1,300 for a ten-hour day, based on published Dubai rate cards from September 2026. An S-Class runs about AED 1,400–2,500 a day. Our rates are in the table on this page, with fuel, Salik and VAT included.

A chauffeur service is a pre-booked car with a professional driver who works for you alone for the trip or the hours you book. Unlike a taxi, the price is agreed in advance, the car class is guaranteed, and the chauffeur waits for you between stops.

A VIP chauffeur is a driver trained for high-profile clients: suited, discreet, on time, and used to working with personal assistants and security teams. It usually comes with a first-class or ultra-luxury car such as an S-Class, Maybach or Rolls-Royce, and a plan agreed before the day.

Send your pickup, drop-off or hours, date, time, passengers and bags on WhatsApp to +971 55 500 7952, or use the booking form. You get a fixed price, confirm it, and receive your chauffeur’s name, number and plate before pickup.

If you’re anywhere in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, yes. We dispatch 24/7 from our base in Business Bay and pick up across Dubai from Jebel Ali to Mirdif, and locally inside Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. A few hours’ notice is usually enough.

Yes. Hourly hire starts at three hours, and extra hours are billed at the hourly rate, so a three-hour booking that runs to four simply costs one more hour. The car and chauffeur wait between stops. For a single trip with no waiting, a fixed-price transfer is cheaper.

No. We only provide our own cars with our own chauffeurs, so insurance, licensing and backup cars stay with us. If one of our cars has a problem, we send another of the same class. With your own car, a breakdown ends the day.

Book directly with a licensed limousine company rather than through a marketplace, so the price, car class and chauffeur are confirmed by the operator. We take bookings 24/7 on WhatsApp at +971 55 500 7952, by phone or through the booking form on this page, for pickups anywhere in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

A chauffeur drives a licensed limousine that comes with the booking and is trained for passenger service: on time, suited, discreet, and waiting between stops. A driver may simply drive your own car. In Dubai, chauffeurs working for limousine companies need an RTA permit on top of their UAE licence.

The most affordable chauffeur option is a business sedan such as a Lexus ES or Mercedes E-Class: about AED 90–120 an hour on published Dubai rate cards (September 2026), with fuel and Salik included. For one trip with no waiting, a fixed-price transfer costs less than three hours of hourly hire.

If your Emirates ticket includes Chauffeur-drive (First Class, and Business Class on eligible fares), use it for the airport run. It covers one car per adult to or from the airport only, so book a chauffeur for meetings, stops or anyone travelling on a different ticket. Our Emirates chauffeur service guide explains who qualifies.
