Tour Transfer’s chauffeur service covers the whole UAE from our base in Dubai. We drive you from any Dubai address to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al Ain and Hatta, one way or as a day trip with the chauffeur waiting. In Abu Dhabi and Sharjah we also pick up locally and hire by the hour. Every route has one fixed price that includes fuel, tolls and VAT.
Most of what we do is still in Dubai, where our chauffeur service in Dubai handles airport runs and car with driver by the hour. This page is for the trips that leave the city: a flight out of Abu Dhabi, a meeting in Sharjah, a weekend at a Ras Al Khaimah resort, a day in the Hajar mountains.

UAE chauffeur routes from Dubai: distance and drive time
| From Dubai to | Distance | Typical drive | Main road | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Abu Dhabi (Corniche) | 115–145 km | 1–1.5 hours | E11 | Dubai to Abu Dhabi transfer |
| Sharjah (Al Majaz) | 20–30 km | 25–35 minutes, 1 hour+ at rush hour | E11 or E311 | Sharjah chauffeur service and Dubai to Sharjah by car |
| Ajman | 30–40 km | 40 minutes–1 hour | E11 or E311 | Quoted per trip |
| Umm Al Quwain | 60–70 km | About 1 hour | E311 | Quoted per trip |
| Ras Al Khaimah (city) | 105–120 km | 1 hour 15–1 hour 45 | E311 or E611 | Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah |
| Fujairah (city) | 115–130 km | 1 hour 30–2 hours | E611, E102, E84 | Dubai to Fujairah |
| Al Ain | 130–150 km | 1 hour 30–2 hours | E66 | Dubai to Al Ain |
| Hatta | 135–145 km | 1 hour 30–2 hours | E611, E102, Hatta road | Dubai to Hatta |
Distances and times are from central Dubai in normal traffic. Starting in Dubai Marina takes time off the Abu Dhabi trip and adds it to the northern emirates; starting in Deira does the opposite. The Dubai–Sharjah border is the main bottleneck on the northern routes, so weekday mornings towards Dubai and evenings out of it take longer.
How much does a chauffeur cost between emirates?
Intercity trips are priced per route, not per hour. The price depends on the distance, the car class, and whether the chauffeur drives back empty or waits for you. Our Abu Dhabi and Sharjah route prices are in the rate table on this page; other emirates are quoted per route with the same all-inclusive terms.
For market context, published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) show:
| What’s being priced | Typical market rate |
|---|---|
| Surcharge for each extra emirate on a Dubai booking | AED 125–200 |
| Business sedan, full day (10 hours) | AED 600–1,300 |
| Mercedes S-Class, full day | AED 1,400–2,500 |
| Large SUV (GMC Yukon, Escalade), full day | AED 1,300–2,000 |
| Mercedes V-Class, full day | AED 1,400–1,600 |
How we build a quote:
- One way: the price covers the drive out and the car’s empty run back to Dubai. You pay for one trip, but the car spends two on the road.
- Return with waiting: the out and back drives plus the hours the chauffeur waits for you. For same-day trips it’s usually better value than two one-way bookings.
- Full day: the car and chauffeur for ten hours, stopping wherever you like. It suits a multi-stop day in Abu Dhabi or a loop up the east coast.
- Tolls: Salik in Dubai and Darb in Abu Dhabi are included. There are no road tolls in the other emirates.
One-way transfer or day trip with waiting?
The rule is simple: staying over means one way, home the same night means a return with waiting.
| Your plan | Book | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Flight out of Abu Dhabi (AUH) or Sharjah (SHJ) | One-way transfer | You’re not coming back by car |
| Two nights at a Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah resort | Two one-way transfers | Paying a car to wait two days makes no sense |
| Meetings in Abu Dhabi, home for dinner | Return with waiting, or full day | The chauffeur holds your bags and your schedule |
| Grand Mosque, Louvre and Yas in one day | Full day | Several stops, flexible timing |
| Hatta or Jebel Jais for the day | Return with waiting | No reliable way back without a car |
Day trips from Dubai with a chauffeur
The UAE is small enough that most of it works as a day out. These are the trips we drive most.
Abu Dhabi
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat, Qasr Al Watan and an afternoon on Yas Island. Book the mosque visit online before you go.
Sharjah
the Heart of Sharjah heritage area, Al Majaz Waterfront and the Mleiha Archaeological Centre, about 65 km into the desert from Sharjah city.
Al Ain
the oasis, Jebel Hafeet and the city’s UNESCO-listed sites. An SUV makes the mountain road more comfortable.
Hatta
the dam, kayaking and mountain trails in Dubai’s own mountain enclave, on a road that stays inside the UAE.
Ras Al Khaimah and Jebel Jais
36 km of mountain road towards the UAE’s highest point, then lunch at a beach resort on the way back.
Fujairah and the east coast
Fujairah Fort and the beaches on the far side of the Hajar mountains.
For a full day, bring swimwear and a change of clothes; the chauffeur keeps them in the car.
Limousine service in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain
We drive limousine transfers to and from Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain from Dubai. There, our service is transfers and day trips starting from Dubai rather than local hourly hire.
Ajman
the smallest emirate, next to Sharjah on the coast. Hotel and beach transfers along the Ajman Corniche, and weddings at Ajman venues with a Rolls-Royce or stretch from our Dubai fleet.
Ras Al Khaimah
resort transfers to Al Marjan Island and the beach hotels, and Jebel Jais trips. For a group of four or more with luggage, an SUV or V-Class; the drive is long enough that comfort matters.
Al Ain
part of Abu Dhabi emirate, reached from Dubai on the E66. Family visits, university trips and day tours to Jebel Hafeet.
Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah
transfers and day trips on the same terms.
For Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, you get the full service: pickups inside the city, hourly and full-day hire, airport meet and greet. See limousine service in Abu Dhabi for airport, hotel and event trips, and chauffeur service in Abu Dhabi for business days and monthly drivers.
Beyond the UAE, we arrange cars with a driver to Riyadh, Dammam and Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia through the Ghuwaifat–Al Batha border. See Dubai to Riyadh by road.
What to know about each emirate
| Emirate | Road tolls | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai | Salik: AED 6 at peak, AED 4 off-peak, free 1–6 a.m., plus 5% VAT since June 2026 | Our base is on Al Asayel St in Business Bay. |
| Abu Dhabi | Darb: AED 4 per crossing on the city bridges at peak (7–9 a.m., 3–7 p.m.), free on Sundays. The Ghantoot gate on the E11 charges at all hours since May 2026. | Book Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque visits online in advance. All airlines at Zayed International Airport use Terminal A. |
| Sharjah | None for cars | Drinking or possessing alcohol is illegal. Dress conservatively. Heavy weekday traffic towards Dubai from about 7:30 a.m. |
| Ajman | None | The smallest emirate, next to Sharjah on the coast. Beach hotels along the Corniche. |
| Umm Al Quwain | None | Quiet coastal emirate between Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah, reached on the E311. |
| Ras Al Khaimah | None | The Jebel Jais road climbs 36 km of hairpins towards the UAE’s highest point. Resorts on Al Marjan Island. |
| Fujairah | None | On the east coast. The fastest road crosses the Hajar mountains on the E102 and E84. |
| Al Ain (Abu Dhabi emirate) | No Darb gates on the E66 | UNESCO-listed oases and archaeological sites, and the drive up Jebel Hafeet. |
| Hatta (Dubai) | None on our route | We use the UAE-only road via the E102. The older E44 road through Al Madam crosses Omani territory and is restricted to UAE and Omani nationals and permit holders. |

It’s priced per route. Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) show AED 125–200 as the typical surcharge for each extra emirate, and a business sedan full day at AED 600–1,300. Our Dubai to Abu Dhabi and Dubai to Sharjah prices are in the rate table on this page, with fuel, tolls and VAT included.
Yes. We drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, plus Al Ain and Hatta. Abu Dhabi and Sharjah get full local service, including pickups inside those cities and hourly hire. We don’t drive across the border into Oman.
Yes, for the same day. Book a return with waiting and the chauffeur parks at the resort and drives you back when you’re ready. For an overnight stay, two one-way transfers cost less than a car waiting for a day and a night.
For First Class and most Business Class tickets on Emirates-operated flights, the chauffeur-drive is included in the fare. Award tickets and upgrades from Economy don’t qualify, and it has to be booked at least 24 hours before the flight. Our Emirates chauffeur service guide explains the limits.
For a full ten-hour day, September 2026 market rate cards show AED 1,400–2,500 for an S-Class and about AED 5,000 for a Rolls-Royce Ghost; stretch limousines are usually sold by the hour at AED 399–799. A limousine transfer to Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah or Al Ain is priced per route instead.
Point-to-point transfers are fixed per route. Multi-stop days are priced as hourly or full-day hire. We tell you which works out cheaper when you send the plan.
