Bus rental in Abu Dhabi with us means a minibus or coach with a driver, from a 13-seat Toyota HiAce to a 53-seat coach, collected anywhere in the emirate: Zayed International Airport, hotels on Yas and Saadiyat, ADNEC, offices or staff accommodation. Your group doesn’t have to start in Dubai. It runs on the same terms as our bus rental in Dubai: the price covers the driver, fuel, Salik and Darb tolls, parking and VAT.

We arrange minibuses and coaches with a driver, and each one is a licensed passenger bus with a licensed bus driver. If the chairman or the bride and groom need a car of their own, we add it from our limousine service in Abu Dhabi on the same booking.

Which bus size do you need?

Count bags as well as people. A 22–30 seat minibus such as the Coaster has no luggage hold and takes only about 4–6 large suitcases, so an airport group of 25 with a case each needs a coach with a hold.

How much does it cost to rent a bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai?

Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) put a 30–35 seat coach at AED 450–550 for a one-way transfer and AED 750–1,600 for a ten-hour day. When the bus leaves Dubai, most operators add about AED 100 per trip, or charge a full coach day of about AED 1,400–1,800. Our prices are in the rate table on this page, one way per bus, tolls included.

RouteRoad distanceDrive in light traffic
Dubai Marina or JLT to Yas Islandabout 92 kmabout 1 hour
Downtown Dubai to Zayed International Airportabout 113 kmabout 1 hour 15 min
Dubai Marina or JLT to Abu Dhabi Cornicheabout 127 kmabout 1 hour 20 min
Downtown Dubai to Abu Dhabi Cornicheabout 148 kmabout 1 hour 35 min

Those are car times from our route checks. A loaded coach needs longer at each end, and weekday peaks (roughly 7–9:30 am and 3:30–8 pm) add more.

The E11 route passes Salik gates on Sheikh Zayed Road, then the Darb gate at Ghantoot and, for the city, the Darb gates on the bridges onto Abu Dhabi island. Abu Dhabi Mobility exempts passenger buses licensed for 26 or more passengers from Darb; vans and smaller minibuses pay. Either way, any Salik and Darb charges are in our quote.

For a day trip, book the full day so the bus waits and the return is covered. Senior guests who’d rather travel apart can follow in a sedan or SUV on our Dubai to Abu Dhabi chauffeur transfer.

Bus rental for Abu Dhabi airport (AUH) groups

Zayed International Airport (AUH) took its new name in February 2024, and every airline now uses Terminal A, so there’s one arrivals hall to meet a group in. Send us every flight number with the headcount and large cases on each. We track the flights, meet the group in arrivals with a name board, and call the bus forward once everyone is through baggage reclaim.

Split arrivals are the usual problem. If half the group lands at 6 am and the rest at 11 am, a minibus for the first flight and a coach for the second can cost less than holding one coach for five hours.

From AUH, Yas Island is about 10–15 minutes away, Saadiyat and the Corniche about 30–40 minutes, and Dubai Marina about an hour.

Events and venues: ADNEC, Yas Island and Saadiyat

Event days are where a group bus pays off: one pickup time and one drop-off, with nobody hunting for a taxi when the doors close.

ADNEC and ADIPEC

ADIPEC 2026 runs 2–5 November at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. In 2025 there was no onsite visitor parking, so we’ll plan coach drops around the 2026 access plan once it’s out. See our ADIPEC transport guide.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

3–6 December 2026 at Yas Marina Circuit. General ticket holders use Yas Mall and the circuit shuttle, so we plan group drops there unless your package includes vehicle access. Book the bus to wait: leaving after the race is the hard part.

Etihad Arena and the Yas parks

concerts at Etihad Arena on Yas Bay, and days at Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World and Yas Waterworld. Agree a pickup point before going in; the space outside fills the moment a show ends.

Saadiyat Island

Louvre Abu Dhabi and the beach resorts, off the E12. A half day covers a museum visit with the bus waiting outside.

Monthly bus rental in Abu Dhabi for staff transport

Yes, you can rent a bus monthly in Abu Dhabi, with the driver, for fixed staff routes on working days. Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) start a 20–33 seat minibus at about AED 10,500 a month, and we quote Abu Dhabi contracts the same way, on the bus size and the daily route.

Typical routes run from staff accommodation to sites in Musaffah, Mohamed bin Zayed City or Khalifa City, or carry office staff between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Two local rules shape the schedule:

  • Peak-hour bans. Abu Dhabi Mobility uses temporary bans on buses carrying workers entering Abu Dhabi island in the morning peak. One ran from 31 August to 4 September 2026, from 6:30 to 9 am. We plan shift times and routes around any restriction in force.
  • CICPA sites. Oil and gas sites can require CICPA passes, issued by the Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Protection Authority to the specific driver and vehicle. If your route goes inside one, tell us at the quote stage so we can confirm a cleared driver and bus before pricing.

How to book bus rental in Abu Dhabi

  1. Send the details on WhatsApp (+971 55 500 7952) or to [email protected]: date, headcount, large suitcases, every pickup and drop-off point, and timings or flight numbers.
  2. Get a fixed quote for the bus size that fits. If one coach won’t take the group and its bags, we’ll say so.
  3. Confirm and pay by card, cash in AED, or bank transfer for corporate accounts. Every booking comes with a VAT invoice.
  4. Receive the driver’s name, mobile and the bus plate before the day.

Add one or two seats to your headcount. A 30-seat bus for 30 names has no seat for the guide or a late addition.

Yes, for fixed staff routes on working days, with the driver included. Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) start a 20–33 seat minibus at about AED 10,500 a month. Send the headcount per shift, pickup points and shift times, and say if any site needs CICPA passes.

Inside Abu Dhabi too. We collect groups from Zayed International Airport, hotels, ADNEC, Yas, Saadiyat, offices and staff accommodation, and the trip doesn’t need to touch Dubai.

Abu Dhabi Mobility exempts passenger buses licensed for 26 or more passengers from Darb fees, so most coaches don’t pay; vans and smaller minibuses do. It makes no difference to your price with us, because any Salik and Darb charges are already in the quote.
