A Mercedes S-Class with chauffeur is the first-class sedan for one to three passengers and two large suitcases: VIP airport pickups, a CEO’s day of meetings, hotel arrivals and the drive to Abu Dhabi. It’s the benchmark for the first-class sedans in our chauffeur fleet.

Is the Mercedes S-Class a chauffeur car?
Yes. It’s designed with the rear seat in mind, and in the UAE Mercedes sells it as a long-wheelbase car (the S 450 4MATIC, S 500 4MATIC and S 580 4MATIC). The long body has a 3,216 mm wheelbase, 110 mm more than the standard S-Class sold elsewhere and about 25 cm more than an E-Class. The extra length goes into the rear doors and rear legroom.
The S-Class also turns more tightly than a car this long should. With the optional rear-axle steering at its full 10-degree setting, Mercedes says the turning circle shrinks by almost two metres. You’ll notice it at tight hotel forecourts in Downtown and on the Palm, where a big sedan normally needs a shuffle or two.
Mercedes revealed an updated S-Class in January 2026. Both the updated car and the one before it are long-wheelbase in the UAE, with the same capacity for chauffeur work.
What is the rear seat of an S-Class like?
It depends on the specification, and Mercedes offers a lot of it. The rear-seat options that matter most to passengers:
Reclining rear seats
with power adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage. With the executive rear seat, the backrest reclines up to 43.5 degrees.
The Chauffeur Package.
The front passenger seat slides much further forward and its headrest folds down. The right-rear passenger gets more legroom and a clear view ahead.
MBUX High-End Rear Seat Entertainment.
Touchscreens on the backs of the front seats for films, browsing and car controls. On the updated car these are two 13.1-inch displays with a camera for video calls.
Rear airbags and Beltbags.
Frontal airbags and inflatable seat belts for rear passengers, available on the S-Class.
Burmester 4D sound
with more than 30 speakers, some of them built into the seats.
The ride comes from AIRMATIC air suspension, with E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL available on top. Not every S-Class has every option, so if the reclining seat or rear screens are the reason you’re booking, ask and we’ll confirm what the car on your date has.

Mercedes S-Class with Chauffeur in Dubai: frequently asked questions
Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) put a Mercedes S-Class airport transfer at about AED 400–500 and a full day at AED 1,400–2,500. The spread depends mainly on hours and distance. Our fixed rates for the first-class sedan class are on the pricing page.
It’s a Mercedes option that lets the front passenger seat move much further forward and fold its headrest down. The passenger behind it gets extra legroom and a clear view of the road ahead. If you want it, ask for it by name when you book.
For one or two VIP passengers, the S-Class: it’s quieter, rides lower and has the reclining rear seat. Choose a large SUV such as the Mercedes GLS when you have four to six people or more than two large suitcases.
