A luxury SUV with driver in Dubai is the right booking once you have four or more passengers, more than two large suitcases, or a day that leaves the city. Our SUVs run from the seven-passenger Chevrolet Suburban and Nissan Patrol Platinum to the four-passenger Range Rover and Lexus LX 600, and every booking comes with a vetted chauffeur, fuel, Salik tolls, airport parking and VAT in one fixed price.
Most people start by asking for “a GMC” or “an Escalade”. Both are good answers, but not always the right one. The right SUV depends on how many people are travelling and how many suitcases come with them, then on the feel you want. If you’re still deciding between a sedan, an SUV and a van, start with rent a car with driver in Dubai.

Which luxury SUV should you book in Dubai?
Count passengers and large suitcases first, then choose the feel. Up to six passengers with four cases: a Yukon Denali or an Escalade. Seven passengers with five cases: the Suburban. Two to four adults who want a quieter, more refined car: a Range Rover or the Lexus LX 600.
| SUV | Passengers | Large suitcases | How it feels | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GMC Yukon Denali | 6 | 4 | Tall, quiet V8, businesslike | Airport runs, Abu Dhabi days, roadshows |
| Cadillac Escalade | 6 | 4 | Same size as the Yukon, showpiece cabin | VIP arrivals, events, weddings |
| Chevrolet Suburban | 7 | 5 | Longest body, biggest boot | Big families, golf trips, heavy luggage |
| Range Rover Vogue | 4 | 3 | Soft air suspension, understated British | Hotel arrivals, couples, business pairs |
| Lexus LX 600 | 4 | 3 | Planted, quiet, reclining rear seats | Long runs to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, RAK |
The Yukon, Escalade and Suburban share one General Motors platform and a V8. The Suburban is the long-wheelbase version, the same length as the Escalade ESV, and nearly all of that extra length goes to boot space. The Range Rover and LX 600 are smaller inside, with a more refined cabin for four.
We also run specialist SUVs for particular jobs:
| SUV | Passengers | Large suitcases | Book it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes-Benz GLS | 6 | 3 | A Mercedes ride for small teams and families travelling light |
| Range Rover Autobiography | 4 | 3 | Executive rear seats with massage for one or two principals |
| Nissan Patrol Platinum | 7 | 4 | Families of seven, desert camps, a low-key look |
| Mercedes-AMG G63 | 4 | 2 | Arrivals, nights out and photo days |
| Lamborghini Urus | 4 | 2 | Birthdays, launches, supercar evenings |
| Porsche Cayenne | 4 | 2 | Executives and couples who want a discreet, sporty SUV |
Can you rent a 7-seater car with driver in Dubai?
Yes, with one catch: a “7-seater” counts the driver’s seat. With a chauffeur at the wheel, a seven-seat SUV like the GMC Yukon Denali or Cadillac Escalade carries six passengers. For seven passengers, book the Chevrolet Suburban or the Nissan Patrol Platinum. For eight, move to a van.
| Passengers | Large suitcases | What to book |
|---|---|---|
| 1–3 | Up to 2 | A business or first-class sedan, not an SUV |
| 4 | 3 | Range Rover Vogue, Lexus LX 600 or Mercedes GLS |
| 5–6 | 4 | GMC Yukon Denali or Cadillac Escalade |
| 7 | 4 | Nissan Patrol Platinum |
| 7 | 5 | Chevrolet Suburban |
| 8 | 5 | Toyota HiAce VIP van |
Above eight passengers, we split the group across two vehicles, for example an SUV and a Mercedes V-Class, running to the same timetable. From 13 people, a minibus with driver is usually the cheaper answer.
Choosing an SUV for a family trip
Count suitcases, not people. Four people with four big cases won’t fit in a sedan, and six people with six cases won’t fit in a Yukon. Book an SUV, not a sedan, for four people with luggage, and move up to the Suburban when the cases outnumber what the smaller SUVs take.
A few things we check with every family booking:
- Who sits in the third row. It suits children and teenagers on any trip, and adults on shorter hops across town. On a long drive, put the tallest people in the middle row.
- Child seats. Children need their own seat, and we can fit child seats and boosters. Tell us ages and weights when you book.
- Prams, golf bags and wheelchairs. They take boot space that a suitcase count misses. Mention them and we’ll confirm the fit or suggest a longer car.
- The flight. For airport arrivals, your chauffeur tracks the flight, meets you inside arrivals with a name board and helps with the trolley. The first 45–60 minutes of waiting after landing are free. More on Dubai airport transfers.
Bottled water and Wi-Fi are in every SUV, which keeps children and laptops happy on longer runs.
Desert camps and Hatta: which SUV to book?
For desert camp evenings, any of our SUVs will do, because the chauffeur drives on paved roads to the camp or the safari operator’s meeting point. The dune driving happens in the operator’s own 4x4s, not in our cars. The chauffeur then waits or comes back at an agreed time. Details are on our VIP desert safari transfers page.
Hatta is a full-day trip. It sits about 130 km east of the city in the Hajar Mountains, an inland part of the emirate of Dubai, and people go for kayaking on Hatta Dam and the mountain scenery. Book it as a full day with the chauffeur waiting while you explore.
- For a family of seven, the Nissan Patrol Platinum keeps everyone in one car.
- For six with bags or picnic kit, the Yukon Denali or Suburban.
- For a couple or two business guests, the Range Rover Vogue or Lexus LX 600, which ride comfortably on the mountain road.
Discreet SUV travel for security-conscious clients
Some clients book an SUV for privacy as much as space. We can’t offer armed guards or close protection, and we don’t claim to. What we do is keep the logistics tight and low-profile.
A car that blends in
A Yukon Denali or Nissan Patrol attracts far less attention on Dubai roads than a G63 or Urus, which suits principals who’d rather not be noticed.
Name boards without names
At the airport, the chauffeur can hold a company name or an agreed code word instead of your principal’s name.
Details in advance
You receive the chauffeur’s name, mobile number and car plate before pickup, so your team knows exactly which car to expect.
Working with your security team
If you travel with a protection provider, we follow their plan for pickup points, timings, routes and the order of cars.
For multi-day visits, we’ll try to keep the same chauffeur throughout, so your team deals with one familiar person. Our chauffeurs don’t photograph clients or discuss bookings.
Luxury SUV with Chauffeur in Dubai: frequently asked questions
It depends on the group. For up to six passengers with luggage, the GMC Yukon Denali is the all-rounder and the Cadillac Escalade the showpiece. For seven, the Chevrolet Suburban. For two to four adults, a Range Rover Vogue for city trips or a Lexus LX 600 for long drives.
Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) put a large SUV with chauffeur at about AED 1,300–2,000 for a full ten-hour day. Trips that add another emirate typically carry AED 125–200 per extra emirate on those rate cards. Our price includes fuel, Salik tolls, airport parking and VAT. Current rates are on the pricing page.
Yes. A full day is ten hours, with the Yukon Denali and chauffeur waiting between your stops. Hourly hire is also available with a three-hour minimum. There’s no night surcharge and no surge pricing, so a late finish costs the same per hour as an afternoon.
We can fit child seats and boosters in our SUVs. Tell us the children’s ages and weights when you book, and remember that each child needs their own seat, which counts towards the passenger limit for the car.
Yes. Dubai to Abu Dhabi is a fixed-price transfer or a full-day booking, and we pick up inside Abu Dhabi and Sharjah too. Hatta works best as a full day. Transfers to Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Al Ain are quoted per route.
