Minibus rental in Dubai gets your group a 13- to 34-seat bus with its own driver, usually a Toyota HiAce high-roof, a Mercedes Sprinter, a Toyota Coaster or a Mitsubishi Rosa. On published Dubai rate cards from September 2026, a full day (10 hours) costs about AED 550–700 for a 13–15 seat HiAce and AED 650–1,100 for a 22-seat Coaster. It’s the middle of our bus rental in Dubai range: bigger than a van, and easier to park than a coach.

We arrange minibuses and coaches with a driver; there’s no self-drive option. Each one is a licensed passenger bus with a licensed bus driver, and our price covers the driver, fuel, Salik tolls, parking and 5% VAT. Our own rates are in the rate table on this page.

Which minibus fits your group?

Count seats, then suitcases. These are the typical models on Dubai rate cards, and the ones we arrange:

MinibusSeatsLarge suitcases (about)Good for
Toyota HiAce high-roof13–156–8, behind the back rowTour groups, crews, extended families
Mercedes Sprinter16–198–10, in the rear compartmentAirport groups, corporate teams, golf groups
VIP Mercedes Sprinter10–14 captain seatsDepends on the layoutExecutives and VIP guests
Toyota Coaster22–30, depending on layout4–6, no luggage holdSchool trips, hotel shuttles, city tours
Mitsubishi Rosa26–34Little, no luggage holdStaff runs, event shuttles

The Coaster is the one that catches people out. It seats up to 30, but there’s no hold under the floor, so bags go in a small space behind the last row or on empty seats. An airport group of 20 with a suitcase each needs a 35-seat coach with a hold, or a Coaster with a luggage van following it. The Rosa is the same story with a few more seats.

The VIP Sprinter trades seats for comfort: fewer, larger leather seats for an executive team. It’s covered on our luxury bus rental page.

One legal point on the bigger layouts: UAE traffic law counts a bus with more than 26 passenger seats as a heavy bus, and its driver needs a heavy bus licence. The larger Coaster and Rosa layouts fall in that class, and every bus we arrange comes with a driver licensed for its size.

Minibus or several vans?

Once a group outgrows one van, a single minibus beats a convoy of vans on price almost every time. Vans win when the passengers are senior, or when the group splits up at the other end. Here’s a group of 12 priced both ways:

One 13–15 seat HiAce high-roofTwo Mercedes V-Class vans

Best forTours, school groups, crews, staff runsBoard members, VIP families, split destinations

The gap is that wide because two vans mean two drivers, and the V-Class is a premium car. Book the minibus when everyone goes to the same places and the budget matters. Book vans with a driver for groups of eight or fewer, or when half the party is heading to a different hotel.

How much does it cost to rent a minibus in Dubai?

On published Dubai rate cards from September 2026, a minibus with driver costs about AED 550–700 for a full day in a 12–15 seat HiAce, from AED 1,100 in an 18-seat Mercedes Sprinter and AED 650–1,100 in a 20–22 seat Coaster or Rosa. A one-way transfer starts at about AED 250–350 in the HiAce and AED 500 in a Coaster.

Seat count isn’t the whole price. On published cards the 18-seat Sprinter starts above a bigger Coaster: it’s the Mercedes that corporate clients ask for by name, with more room for bags. After the vehicle, these move the quote:

  1. Extra hours. About AED 100–120 each once the half or full day runs out.
  2. Leaving Dubai. Most operators add about AED 100 per trip to Abu Dhabi or the northern emirates.
  3. Several pickups. Every extra hotel adds time to the run, and the clock starts at the first one.
  4. Monthly contracts. For staff transport, a published Dubai rate card puts a 20–33 seat minibus from about AED 10,500 a month.

What people hire a minibus for

Airport groups

We track the flight and meet the group in arrivals at DXB or DWC with a name board. Count the suitcases first: a Sprinter’s rear compartment takes about 8–10, and a Coaster has almost no room. Smaller parties can book an airport transfer by car or van.

School and university trips

A Coaster takes a class and its teachers in one bus. UAE traffic law has required every passenger to wear a seatbelt since 2017, so ask for a bus with a working belt on every seat, and fix the return time before the day.

Hotel shuttles

Timed loops between a hotel and a beach, a mall or an event venue. A minibus gets to the hotel door on most runs, so guests aren’t walking to a coach bay in the heat.

Corporate offsites

A team of 15 to 30 out to a hotel, a desert camp or Abu Dhabi, with the bus waiting all day.

Wedding guests

Guests from two or three hotels to the venue and back, timed to the programme. The return run is usually late, so book enough hours to cover it.

Golf groups

Golf bags eat luggage space fast, and a few can fill a HiAce’s rear space on their own. Tell us how many are coming.

Desert safari pickup points

When the safari company collects from a meeting point rather than from each hotel, a minibus gets the whole group there together and brings everyone back after the camp.

Abu Dhabi and Hatta day trips

Both are roughly 90 minutes to two hours each way from central Dubai, so book a full day. The driver waits at each stop, and the group sets its own timetable.

How to book a minibus in Dubai

  1. Send the details on WhatsApp (+971 55 500 7952) or through the booking form: date, headcount, number of large suitcases and golf bags, pickup points and a rough schedule.
  2. Get a fixed quote with the minibus we recommend. If a van or a full-size coach suits the group better, we’ll tell you.
  3. Confirm and pay by card, cash in AED, or bank transfer for companies.
  4. Receive the driver’s name, mobile and the bus plate before the day. For airport pickups, add the flight number and we track it.
