How long does it take to get off Palm Jumeirah?
Atlantis The Palm to DXB is about 39 km, typically 28–45 minutes off-peak and 35–55 minutes at rush hour. From Palm Jumeirah Mall, halfway along the trunk, it’s about 34 km and 24–45 minutes. The difference is the crescent: cars there come back through the undersea tunnel and down the full length of the trunk first.

Google Maps typical-traffic ranges for a Tuesday (late morning off-peak; 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. peak), checked in September 2026. Both columns leave the island the same way: down the trunk road, which joins Sheikh Zayed Road at the Palm Jumeirah interchange between the Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Marina junctions and crosses King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street (the former Al Sufouh Road) on the way.
Trunk, fronds or crescent: where is your pickup?
Tell us which of the three, then the building, villa number or hotel. Palm Jumeirah divides into the trunk (apartments, hotels, beach clubs and the mall), the fronds (villas, lettered A to P) and the outer crescent (the resorts), and a chauffeur heading to “the Palm” without that detail can lose time going the wrong way.
The trunk
Apartment towers and hotels line the main road. FIVE Palm Jumeirah sits on the trunk, and Palm Jumeirah Mall (called Nakheel Mall until September 2025) is in the middle, connected to The View at The Palm in The Palm Tower. Palm West Beach runs along the western edge near Al Ittihad Park.
The fronds
Villa pickups go to the house, not the frond entrance. Send the frond letter and villa number. If your frond has a security post, add the chauffeur’s name and the car plate to the guest list; we send both once the booking is confirmed.
The crescent
The crescent is reached through the undersea tunnel from the top of the trunk, then splits east and west. Atlantis The Palm stands at the apex, with Atlantis The Royal beside it. The rest by side:

When is Palm Jumeirah traffic at its worst?
Late afternoon into the evening rush, and on weekend evenings when the resorts and beach clubs fill at the same time. Every car leaving the island uses the same trunk road, so a slow patch at the Sheikh Zayed Road end backs up along the trunk.

Evening flights from the crescent
get the pickup moved earlier rather than a rushed drive. Allow at least an hour from a crescent resort to DXB between 5 and 8 p.m.
Dinner in Downtown from Atlantis
at 8 p.m. means leaving by 7:15.
Morning departures
are easier than evening ones: Google’s typical range from Atlantis to DXB is 28–40 minutes at 8 a.m. against 35–55 minutes at 6 p.m.
Event nights
such as New Year’s Eve and big beach-club weekends bring long queues, so we agree the route and the meeting point with you days ahead.
The Palm Monorail runs from Palm Gateway at the base of the trunk to Atlantis Aquaventure. It restarted in June 2026 after being suspended from December 2025, and it’s handy for sightseeing, less so with suitcases.
Which areas near Palm Jumeirah does our limo service cover?
All of them. Dubai Marina and JBR are 7–14 km from the Palm, and Bluewaters and Dubai Harbour are just beyond. Along the coast the other way, Jumeirah and Madinat Jumeirah are about 10 km from Atlantis by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street. Al Barsha and Mall of the Emirates are a short run inland across Sheikh Zayed Road.

Yes, from the villa door. Send the frond letter, villa number and a phone number the chauffeur can reach. If the frond has a guard post, we give you the chauffeur’s name and plate so you can pre-register the car, and the chauffeur calls you on arrival.

Often, yes. All traffic leaves by the trunk road to Sheikh Zayed Road, so the weekday evening rush and weekend nights are the slowest times. From a crescent resort, allow an hour to DXB in the evening peak and we’ll set the pickup time accordingly.
