A Mercedes-Benz GLS with chauffeur suits up to six passengers who want Mercedes comfort with SUV space: three rows, a quiet cabin and a ride that feels closer to a sedan than to a truck. It takes three large suitcases with every seat filled. The S in GLS is deliberate, because Mercedes positions it as the S-Class of its SUV range.
Book it for hotel arrivals, visiting executives who expect a Mercedes, and families of four or five travelling fairly light. The quote is a single fixed price, with the chauffeur, fuel, Salik tolls, airport parking and VAT included. If your group carries more luggage, compare it with the American SUVs in our luxury SUV with chauffeur guide.

What is the Mercedes GLS like inside?
The GLS is a three-row SUV with seven seats in standard form, and some are built with two captain’s chairs in the middle row. With a chauffeur at the wheel, that leaves six passengers. The cabin will feel familiar to anyone who rides in an E-Class or S-Class: the same controls, the same screens and the same hush at motorway speed.
What sets it apart from the Escalade and Yukon is the ride. The GLS is built on the same platform as the smaller GLE rather than on a truck frame, and on cars fitted with E-Active Body Control the suspension works actively to keep the body level over speed bumps and through roundabouts. On a long day of short hops between meetings, that calm adds up.
The trade-off is luggage. With all six passenger seats in use, the boot takes three large cases, one fewer than a Yukon or Escalade. With four passengers the third row folds flat and the GLS swallows a family’s holiday luggage without trouble. The third row itself suits children or adults on short trips across town. Bottled water and Wi-Fi are in the car.
Where does the GLS work best in Dubai?
Hotel arrivals and departures
The GLS looks right under a hotel porte-cochère without the bulk of a full-size American SUV. Hotels booking for guests can use our hotel transportation service.
Visiting executives with a small team
A director and two colleagues ride in the first two rows with room to spread out, and the third row stays free for briefcases.
Airport runs for four
Four passengers with three large cases and cabin bags. The chauffeur tracks the flight and meets you in arrivals. See Dubai airport transfers.
Family days
Five people to a beach club or Dubai Hills Mall, with the third row folded down for bags and shopping.
GLS, Escalade or S-Class: which should you book?
Choose the GLS over an S-Class when you have more than three passengers, and over an Escalade when the group is travelling lighter and prefers a European ride. For four or more large cases, the Escalade wins on space.
| Mercedes-Benz GLS | Cadillac Escalade | Range Rover Vogue | Mercedes-Benz S-Class | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Passengers | 6 | 6 | 4 | 3 |
| Large suitcases | 3 | 4 | 3 | 2 |
| How it feels | Smooth, level, familiar Mercedes cabin | Big, tall, showpiece American | Upright, soft, understated British | Low, silent, reclining rear seats |
| Book it for | Hotel arrivals, small teams, families | Six people with more luggage | Two to four adults | One VIP in the back seat |
For one or two senior guests, the Mercedes S-Class is still the better rear seat. The GLS is the answer once the party grows past three.
Mercedes-Benz GLS with Chauffeur in Dubai: frequently asked questions
Yes. The GLS has three rows and seven seats in standard form, and some cars are fitted with two captain’s chairs in the middle row instead of a bench. With the chauffeur in one seat, we book it for up to six passengers and three large suitcases.
Count the suitcases. With four or more large cases and five or six passengers, book the Escalade. With four passengers and three cases, the GLS is the smoother, quieter ride. Both are priced as one fixed figure per route with parking and tolls included.
Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) put large SUVs at about AED 1,300–2,000 for a full ten-hour day, and that’s the bracket for the GLS. Hourly hire has a three-hour minimum, with no night surcharge. Current rates are on our pricing page.
For short trips around town, yes. For longer runs such as Abu Dhabi or Al Ain, we’d seat adults in the first two rows and use the back row for children or bags. If six adults need a long drive, the Escalade or a Mercedes V-Class van is more comfortable.
