Choose the type of transport you need
A BMW 5 Series with chauffeur is a business sedan for one to three passengers and two large suitcases, priced in the same class as the Mercedes E-Class. Choose it if you simply prefer BMW, or if you want the longest body in the class for a regular commute. It’s one of the business sedans in our chauffeur fleet.
The price is fixed before you travel and covers the chauffeur, fuel, Salik tolls, airport parking, VAT, bottled water and Wi-Fi.

Is the BMW 5 Series bigger than a Mercedes E-Class?
Slightly. The current 5 Series (the G60 generation, revealed by BMW in May 2023) is 5,060 mm long, about 11 cm longer than the E-Class. The wheelbase, which decides rear legroom, is 2,995 mm against the E-Class’s 2,961 mm. That 34 mm gap is hard to notice from the back seat. Both cars seat two adults in the rear in real comfort.
The boot goes the other way. BMW quotes 520 litres for the petrol 5 Series and 490 litres for the electric i5, while the E-Class has 540. All three take two full-size suitcases with cabin bags on top. A third large case needs an SUV.
So the choice comes down to preference. Plenty of travellers have a brand they stick to, and we book whichever one you name.
What's the ride like from the back?
BMW builds the 5 Series around the person at the wheel, and that shows in how tidy it feels on the curving ramps between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. From the rear seat the ride is on the firm side of comfortable. If softness matters more than anything, the Lexus ES or an S-Class is the better pick.
Two adults get a wide armrest between them, rear air vents and a quiet cabin at motorway speed. The middle seat is for short hops only.
Equipment varies car to car across BMW’s option list (sound systems, rear sunblinds, seat heating and ventilation). If a feature matters, ask when you book and we’ll confirm what the car on your date has.
Good uses for a 5 Series with driver

DXB or DWC with flight tracking and a name board in arrivals. See Dubai airport transfers for how pickups work at each terminal.
Exhibition days
Hotel to Dubai World Trade Centre or Expo City and back, with the car on call between halls. Our exhibition and conference transport page covers drop-off points.
Meetings in Abu Dhabi
About 140 km each way on the E11, or roughly 90 minutes without heavy traffic. Keep the car for the day or book a fixed one-way price.
