Is the Bentley Mulsanne still made?
No. Bentley built the Mulsanne from 2010 until 25 June 2020, when the last car left the factory in Crewe, England. More than 7,300 were made in that decade. The final run, the Mulsanne 6.75 Edition by Mulliner, was limited to 30 cars.
Its engine went with it. The Mulsanne used Bentley’s 6.75-litre twin-turbo V8, a design whose roots go back to 1959. Bentley retired it in 2020 after more than 60 years in production. When the Mulsanne ended, Bentley passed the role of flagship to the Flying Spur.

What is it like in the back of a Mulsanne?
Traditional in the best way. The Mulsanne was assembled largely by hand at Crewe, and the cabin shows it, with thick hide and polished wood veneers and very little in the way of screens. The big V8 does its work at low revs, so the car moves off with a quiet surge rather than any noise.
Bentley also built a Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase, launched at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. It added 250 mm between the wheels (3,516 mm against 3,266 mm), all of it for rear legroom, and offered airline-style electric leg rests, privacy curtains and folding tables for the rear seats. Standard-wheelbase cars still give two adults generous room in the back.
