A limousine in Dubai costs from about AED 90–120 an hour for a business sedan with chauffeur to around AED 5,000 a day for a Rolls-Royce Ghost, based on published Dubai rate cards in September 2026. A full ten-hour day in a business sedan runs AED 600–1,300, an S-Class airport transfer AED 400–500, and a stretch limousine AED 399–799 an hour. Our own rates are on the pricing page.
In the UAE, “limousine” means any chauffeur-driven luxury car booked in advance; a stretch limo is only one kind. So the first question is which car you mean. The second is how you book it: a transfer, by the hour or by the day.
Limousine prices in Dubai by car class
These are market ranges from the rate cards Dubai chauffeur companies publish, read in September 2026. They’re for comparison, not our price list.
| Car class | Examples | Market price |
|---|---|---|
| Business sedan, per hour | Mercedes E-Class, Lexus ES, BMW 5 Series | AED 90–120 |
| Business sedan, half day | Same | AED 500–850 |
| Business sedan, full day (10 h) | Same | AED 600–1,300 |
| First-class sedan, one transfer | Mercedes S-Class | AED 400–500 |
| First-class sedan, full day | Mercedes S-Class | AED 1,400–2,500 |
| Large SUV, full day | GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade | AED 1,300–2,000 |
| Luxury van, full day | Mercedes V-Class | AED 1,400–1,600 |
| Ultra-luxury, full day | Rolls-Royce Ghost | about AED 5,000 |
| Stretch limousine, per hour | Cadillac Escalade stretch, Hummer H2, Lincoln, Chrysler 300 | AED 399–799 |
| Each extra emirate on a Dubai booking | Any | AED 125–200 |
The spread inside each band comes from the car’s age and trim, what the price includes, and the minimum hours. A low hourly rate with a five-hour minimum can cost more than a higher rate with a three-hour minimum.
How much is limousine hire per day in Dubai?
A full day, usually ten hours, costs about AED 600–1,300 for a business sedan, AED 1,300–2,000 for a large SUV, AED 1,400–2,500 for an S-Class and around AED 5,000 for a Rolls-Royce Ghost on published Dubai rate cards. The day rate normally covers one chauffeur for the whole period, with waiting included.
Check three things before you compare day rates:
- How many hours is a “day”? Most cards use ten. Some use eight.
- Is there a kilometre limit? A day in Dubai rarely hits one; a day trip to Abu Dhabi might.
- What does an extra hour cost? Weddings and events often run over.
How much is it to hire a limousine for 1 hour?
Usually you can’t book just one hour. Most Dubai operators set a minimum; ours is three hours. On published rate cards, a business sedan with chauffeur costs about AED 90–120 an hour, and a stretch limousine AED 399–799 an hour, with stretch cards commonly asking for a three-hour minimum.
If you need one car for one journey, book a transfer instead. A transfer is a fixed price from A to B, including a reasonable wait at pickup. It’s the right product for an airport run, a hotel to a restaurant, or a drop at an event. For a longer look at hourly and daily rates, see how much a chauffeur costs in Dubai.
What changes the price of a limousine in Dubai?
Six things move the price, roughly in order of how much they matter:
- The car. A Rolls-Royce costs several times a business sedan. The class matters more than anything else on this list.
- The booking type. Transfer, hourly or full day. Pick the one that matches the trip; the wrong one wastes money.
- Leaving Dubai. Trips into Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or the Northern Emirates add distance and, on most rate cards, a surcharge of about AED 125–200 per extra emirate.
- Waiting and overruns. A wedding that runs an hour late adds an hour on hourly hire.
- The date. New Year’s Eve, the big December weekends and major event weeks sell out first, so the choice of cars shrinks. Ask whether a quote changes on those dates. Ours doesn’t: no surge pricing, no night surcharge, and the price is fixed when you book.
- Extras. Wedding decoration, and anything added on the day, such as extra hours or an unplanned stop in another emirate.
What should a limousine price include?
Ask this before comparing quotes, because a low headline rate often excludes the things you’ll pay for anyway. Our prices include:
- The chauffeur, in uniform, for the whole booking.
- Fuel.
- Salik tolls. Dubai’s gates charge AED 6 per crossing at peak and AED 4 off-peak, with 5% VAT added since June 2026, per the Dubai government’s Salik guide and Salik’s VAT notice.
- Airport parking.
- VAT at 5%.
- Bottled water and Wi-Fi.
- For airport pickups: flight tracking, meet and greet with a name board, and 45–60 minutes of free waiting.
If another quote leaves out Salik, parking or VAT, add them back before you compare. On a full day across Sheikh Zayed Road, tolls alone can add a noticeable amount.
Transfer, hourly or full day: which is cheaper?
It depends on how much of the time the car waits.
| Your plan | Best booking | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Airport to hotel | Transfer | Fixed price, waiting included |
| Dinner, car waits 2 hours, then home | Hourly, 3 hours | Two transfers can cost about the same, without the risk of waiting for a new car |
| Four meetings across Dubai | Half day | The car waits outside each one |
| Meetings from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. | Full day | Cheaper per hour than hourly hire |
| Wedding: bride’s home, venue, photos | Hourly or wedding package | Plan 4–5 hours with a buffer |
Stretch limousine or luxury sedan?
A stretch limo is for a group and an occasion: birthdays, proms, a night out, a wedding party. A luxury sedan or SUV is for getting somewhere in comfort. If six people need to reach a dinner on time, an SUV or V-Class does it for less. If six people want the ride to be the event, book a stretch. Our limo rental page lists the stretch models, and our limo vs taxi guide compares the everyday options.
For ultra-luxury cars, our Rolls-Royce price guide breaks down Ghost, Phantom and Cullinan rates.
Frequently asked questions
How much is limousine hire per day?
In Dubai, a full ten-hour day costs about AED 600–1,300 for a business sedan with chauffeur, AED 1,400–2,500 for a Mercedes S-Class, AED 1,300–2,000 for a large SUV and around AED 5,000 for a Rolls-Royce Ghost, based on published rate cards in September 2026. How much is it to hire a limousine for 1 hour?
Most Dubai companies don’t sell a single hour; minimums of three hours are common, and three hours is ours. Hourly rates run about AED 90–120 for a business sedan and AED 399–799 for a stretch limousine. For one journey, a fixed-price transfer is the better buy.
How much is the price of a limousine in Dubai?
It depends on the car and the booking. A one-way S-Class transfer costs about AED 400–500 on published rate cards; a full day ranges from AED 600 for a business sedan to around AED 5,000 for a Rolls-Royce Ghost. Our current rates are on the pricing page.
Is Salik included in limousine prices in Dubai?
With us, yes: Salik, fuel, airport parking and VAT are in the price. Some operators add tolls afterwards, so ask. Each Salik crossing costs AED 6 at peak or AED 4 off-peak, plus 5% VAT.
Do limousine prices go up on New Year’s Eve in Dubai?
Ours don’t: we don’t use surge pricing, so the rate is the one you booked. If you’re comparing quotes, ask each operator whether its New Year’s Eve rate differs. The bigger risk that night is availability and road closures, so book early.
