A Hyundai Staria with chauffeur carries six passengers and three large suitcases in a van that looks like nothing else on Sheikh Zayed Road. The windows run low and wide, the middle-row seats recline with leg rests, and power sliding doors make getting in easy. The fixed quote includes the chauffeur, fuel, Salik tolls, airport parking and VAT.

It suits families and small groups travelling fairly light, and anyone who wants to see the city on the way. For more luggage or more seats, compare it with the other vans on our van rental with driver in Dubai page.

What is the Staria like inside?

Bright and airy. Hyundai launched the Staria in 2021 to replace the older H-1 (Starex), and designed it around the view out: wide panoramic side windows and a low beltline, so even children in the back row can see the skyline rather than a door panel. The roof is high, so adults move to their seats with a stoop rather than a scramble.

The seats to ask for are in the middle row. On the Staria Premium seven-seat layout, Hyundai fits two “premium relaxation seats” with separately adjustable backrest, cushion and leg rest, plus heating and ventilation. A one-touch relaxation mode tips the seat back into a reclined position that spreads your weight, which is exactly what you want after a night flight into DXB.

Plan around the luggage. With six passengers on board, three large cases fit behind the back row, plus cabin bags. That’s one fewer case than a V-Class and two fewer than a Vito. If each person has a big suitcase, book a Vito or HiAce instead.

Bottled water and Wi-Fi are in the van, and the ambient lighting can be set to a soft colour for evening pickups.

Hyundai Staria with Chauffeur in Dubai: frequently asked questions

We book the Staria for six passengers with three large suitcases. Hyundai builds it in seven-, nine- and eleven-seat versions; ours is set up for comfort, with reclining middle-row seats. For seven passengers or more luggage, book a Mercedes Vito or Toyota HiAce VIP.

They seat the same six passengers. The Staria has the bigger windows and reclining lounge seats; the V-Class has the Mercedes cabin, facing seats and room for one more large case. For sightseeing and family arrivals, the Staria. For corporate guests and VIP groups, the V-Class.

Three large suitcases plus cabin bags. With five passengers or fewer, there’s room for more. If every passenger brings a big case, move up to a Vito, which takes five, or split the group between a Staria and an SUV.

Published Dubai rate cards (September 2026) put a Mercedes V-Class at about AED 1,400–1,600 for a full ten-hour day, a benchmark for luxury vans. Transfers are one fixed price per route, with fuel, Salik tolls and VAT included. See our pricing page.
