You can book a Mercedes Viano with chauffeur in Dubai for up to six passengers and three large suitcases, at one fixed price that covers the chauffeur, fuel, Salik tolls, airport parking and VAT. Know what you’re booking, though: Mercedes stopped making the Viano in 2014, when the V-Class replaced it, so every Viano on the road is the previous generation of Mercedes van.

Is the Mercedes Viano the same as the V-Class?
Not quite. They’re the same idea from two different generations. The Viano was the passenger version of the second-generation Mercedes Vito, sold from 2003 to 2014. In 2014 Mercedes launched a new van and split the names: the working and plainer passenger versions kept the Vito name, and the premium passenger version became the V-Class.
What carries over is the format that made both popular in Dubai:
- Sliding side doors, so you step in rather than climb, and get out on the kerb side at hotels.
- Rear seats that can be arranged to face each other, which suits families and teams.
- A proper boot behind the last row, instead of an SUV’s shallow load space.
- A Mercedes badge, if that matters to your guests or your travel policy.
What changes is age and finish. The V-Class has a newer cabin, newer safety systems and more modern screens. In our fleet the V-Class also takes one more large case, four against the Viano’s three.
When does a Viano still make sense?
When six seats and space matter more than the newest cabin. The Viano does the everyday group jobs well:
Airport pickups for families

Moving a small team between a hotel and a venue several times a day, booked by the hour with a three-hour minimum.
Family days out
Beaches, malls and theme parks, with the van waiting at each stop and a sliding door that makes loading children easy.
Sharjah and Abu Dhabi runs
Fixed-price transfers for the group, with pickups inside both emirates for the return.
If you’re meeting a VIP or want the most up-to-date cabin, book the Mercedes V-Class instead. Ask for both quotes and pick. Whichever you choose, we confirm the model in writing when you book, so the van that turns up is the one you agreed.

The Vito is the one to choose if luggage is the problem. The Staria suits a group that wants a newer van with lounge-style seats.
Mercedes Viano with Chauffeur in Dubai: frequently asked questions
No. Mercedes built the Viano from 2003 to 2014, then replaced it with the V-Class, which was shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Vito name continues for the working and plainer passenger versions of the newer van. Vianos in service today are the earlier generation.
We book the Viano for six passengers with three large suitcases. With five passengers, there’s room for more luggage. For seven passengers or five big cases, the Mercedes Vito is the better choice, and for eight, the Toyota HiAce VIP.
Book the V-Class for VIP guests, corporate hosting or anyone who wants the newest cabin and one extra suitcase of space. Book the Viano when six seats in a Mercedes van is the main requirement. We confirm the exact model in writing either way.
