Coca-Cola Arena parking is paid, limited and first come, first served, in car parks P2 and P4 plus nearby City Walk and RTA parking. It’s ticketless: your number plate is your ticket and you’re charged by the hour. There’s no valet for public events. Cars can drop off in a dedicated zone in front of main entrances A, B and C.

The arena holds 17,000 people, and on a sold-out night the City Walk roads fill up fast. We book event chauffeur transport for concerts here all season. This guide covers the official parking and drop-off rules and the exit plan that gets you home without the post-show scramble.

Where is Coca-Cola Arena?

Coca-Cola Arena is in City Walk, close to Downtown Dubai. The arena’s plan your visit page says it’s easily reached from both Financial Centre Road and Sheikh Zayed Road, and a 25-minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

The arena publishes two recommended driving routes:

  • From Abu Dhabi direction: Sheikh Zayed Road, exit 47 towards Al Hadiqa Street, continue on Al Hadiqa Road (D69), turn right onto Al Wasl Road for about 13 km, right onto 13th Street for about 1.5 km, then left onto Happiness Street and follow the signs.
  • From the Dubai and Sharjah direction: stay on Sheikh Zayed Road past the arena, take exit 49 towards Jumeirah, continue on Umm Amar Road, turn right onto Al Wasl Road (D92), right onto 13th Street for about 1.5 km, then left onto Happiness Street.

The arena itself warns that a 17,000-capacity venue brings a lot of traffic, and asks guests to use public transport where possible.

How much is parking at Coca-Cola Arena?

The arena doesn’t publish a fixed price. Its FAQ page says parking is charged hourly, with any part of an hour billed as a full hour, and that rates are shown on site or in the payment system and may vary on event days or at peak times.

Payment is handled by PARKONIC. There’s no paper ticket: cameras read your number plate on the way in and out, and the fee is recorded automatically.

Drop-off and pickup at Coca-Cola Arena

Drop-off: the arena has a dedicated drop-off zone directly in front of its main entrances A, B and C. That’s where taxis, ride-hailing and chauffeur cars stop. Treat it as a place to stop and step out.

Pickup: taxis and ride-hailing also use the drop-off and pick-up area. On a big night, that’s where everyone is standing when the show ends, which is why we don’t use it for pickups after sold-out concerts.

Doors: the arena opens two hours before the scheduled start time. For some events, guests can queue up to an hour before doors open. Check your event page for the exact running time.

One practical point for anyone arriving by car: the arena doesn’t allow backpacks, and the maximum bag size is 30 cm by 30 cm. Larger bags can be stored at a kiosk outside the arena for a fee. With a chauffeur, anything that doesn’t meet the rules stays in the car.

Can you get to Coca-Cola Arena by metro?

Yes. The arena names Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall on the Red Line as its nearest metro station and describes it as a few minutes’ walk away. RTA runs the metro from 5am to midnight Monday to Thursday and Saturday, 5am to 1am on Friday, and 8am to midnight on Sunday.

That matters for late shows. A concert that finishes after 11pm on a weekday leaves you a tight window for the last train. On Friday you have until 1am.

How to get out of Coca-Cola Arena after a concert

The exit is the part that needs a plan. When 17,000 people leave together, the drop-off zone fills with people waiting for rides, ride-hailing prices rise and the City Walk access roads slow to walking pace.

This is what we do for concert pickups:

  1. Agree the pickup point before the show. Not the main entrance. We pick a spot a short walk from the arena, away from the taxi and ride-hailing crowd, and send you a pin.
  2. Car in position before the encore. Message your chauffeur when the last song starts. He’s already parked nearby and moves to the pickup point.
  3. Walk, don’t wait. A few minutes on foot beats a long wait in the pickup zone.
  4. Pick the direction home first. If you’re heading to Dubai Marina or Abu Dhabi, the car waits on the side of City Walk that points you that way.

Leaving during the final song gets you to the car ahead of the crowd, if you don’t mind missing the last few minutes. If you’re weighing a pre-booked car against an app taxi for nights like this, our limo vs taxi comparison sets out the differences.

Traffic windows to avoid

  • The hour before doors on a sold-out night. Arrivals, drop-offs and car park queues overlap.
  • Weekday evening peak. Shows that start early collide with commuters on Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road.
  • The first 30 minutes after the show ends. The worst time to call a taxi or ride-hailing car.
  • Weekend nights in City Walk. Restaurants and the arena share the same roads.

For other nights out, see our Dubai Opera parking and drop-off guide and the Dubai events calendar, which lists the season’s big events. Our Downtown Dubai chauffeur service covers City Walk, Downtown and DIFC.
