Dubai Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2027 season runs from 22 to 26 October 2026 at Dubai Design District (d3). It’s an industry event: showroom appointments by day, runway shows in the evening, mostly by registration or invitation. There’s no metro station inside d3, so most guests come by car. For back-to-back shows, book an event limousine or hourly chauffeur that waits on site.
The full schedule is out, and it shows where the pressure is: the opening Thursday has 14 listings and the Friday 13, with runway shows stacked from late afternoon to 9pm.
When is Dubai Fashion Week? 2026, 2027 and 2028
Dubai Fashion Week runs two seasons a year: an autumn/winter season early in the year and a spring/summer season in October.

The October dates and the March 2027 season come from the Dubai Fashion Week website. The October 2026 season is at d3, the district that co-founded the event, and the organiser confirms the venue with each edition.
What Dubai Fashion Week is, and who gets in
Dubai Fashion Week was founded by Dubai Design District and the Arab Fashion Council. The organiser describes it as the city’s only official industry platform recognised as part of the international calendar alongside New York, London, Milan and Paris.
That industry focus decides who attends:
- Buyers and press register through the Dubai Fashion Week registration page.
- Showroom visits are by appointment.
- Runway shows and side events are largely by invitation.
- Designers apply to join the official calendar; applications for the March 2027 season are already open.
There’s no general public ticket on the official site. If you have a seat, it’s because a designer, brand or registration put you there, which also means your timings are fixed and the car has to fit around them.

What a show day looks like
The official Dubai Fashion Week schedule for the opening day, Thursday 22 October 2026, sets the rhythm for the week:

The number of listings falls through the week, from 14 on Thursday and 13 on Friday to 8 on Saturday, 6 on Sunday and 4 on Monday. The first two days are the ones to book cars for early.
Getting to d3: car, taxi or metro
d3 sits beside Dubai Creek off Al Khail Road, a short drive from Business Bay and Downtown. The options:

The 5:30pm show on Thursday lands in the evening rush. Al Khail Road and Sheikh Zayed Road are both slow at that hour on a weekday, so leave a Downtown or DIFC hotel earlier than the map suggests. The exit plan between shows
Fashion week days fail at the exits, not the arrivals. A show runs late, the next one is across the district, and the car is stuck in a queue at the gate. How we’d plan it:
- Book hourly hire for the evening block, not one-way transfers. Hourly hire has a 3-hour minimum, which covers a typical run of evening shows.
- Name the building. d3 has many buildings; tell the chauffeur which one each show is in.
- Message the chauffeur as the finale starts. The car moves to the door while everyone else is still clapping.
- Keep garment bags in the car. Changes between shows are easier with the boot as a wardrobe.

There’s no metro station inside d3. The nearest Red Line stations are in Business Bay, and from there it’s a short taxi ride. For fashion week, most guests arrive by car, because evening shows end late and garment bags don’t travel well on the metro.
When is Dubai Fashion Week 2027?
