When is the Dubai Polo Gold Cup 2027?
The Dubai Polo Gold Cup series started in 2009 and runs through the winter season, with the Gold Cup (20-goal) as its flagship. The official calendar for the 2026–27 season lists:

That March slot matters for transport. The 2027 Gold Cup overlaps Gulfood week (15–19 March 2027) and finishes a week before the Dubai World Cup at Meydan on 27 March. Chauffeurs and large cars are heavily booked across that fortnight. Our Dubai events calendar has the rest of the season.
Tickets, hospitality and parking passes
Al Habtoor Polo Club publishes ticket categories for each tournament. The 2027 prices aren’t out yet; these are the 2026 Gold Cup figures, all tax inclusive:

The club listed Gold Cup timings as 10am to 8pm, and polo picnic parking at AED 100 on Saturdays (AED 150 on final day). The Silver Cup final in January had its own, cheaper categories, with general admission at AED 150.
Here’s the quirk. Hospitality packages come with a set number of VIP parking passes. If your group of eight arrives in three cars, two of them don’t get the VIP bays. One larger car, or a Rolls-Royce plus an SUV, fits the passes you’ve paid for. Send us a photo of the pass and the chauffeur will use the right entrance.
How do you get to Al Habtoor Polo Resort?
The resort’s address is Wadi Al Safa 5, Emirates Road (E611), per Al Habtoor Polo Resort, and the club describes itself as a polo and equestrian community in Dubailand. It’s inland, away from the coast, and there’s no metro station close by.

From Downtown, Business Bay or Dubai Hills, the run out to Emirates Road is straightforward. From Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah or Jumeirah, allow longer.
The Gold Cup final-day plan
Match days are relaxed. Final day is different: the crowd builds through the afternoon, and after the trophy the car park empties in one wave. This is how we run it:
- Before the day, tell us your ticket type and any parking pass. Hospitality guests may be directed to a different entrance or car park from general admission, so the pass matters.
- On arrival, the chauffeur drops you at the right entrance, then parks. With a VIP pass, he parks in the VIP area.
- During the match, he waits. You don’t need to check in with him.
- After the trophy, message him before you walk out. We fix the pickup spot when you arrive, so you’re not hunting for the car.
If the evening carries on in Downtown or at a hotel bar, keep the car on hourly hire (3-hour minimum) rather than booking a new ride from the resort.
Which car, and what to wear for the grass
Polo is the one event where the car is part of the photos. A Rolls-Royce with chauffeur or a Bentley is the classic arrival for a couple. On clothing, the club’s ticket information doesn’t set out a spectator dress code. Our advice: smart day dress, and block heels or wedges rather than stilettos, because you’ll be on grass. Bring a layer for after sunset. Free cancellation applies up to 24 hours before pickup for Rolls-Royce and Bentley bookings, 6 hours for other cars.
