MEBAA Show 2026 runs Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 December 2026 at the Dubai Airshow Site at Dubai World Central (DWC), next to Al Maktoum International Airport, 10am to 5pm daily. Visitor parking is free and shuttles are promised, but GITEX runs at Expo City the same week, so the fastest way in is a pre-booked car to the drop-off.
The show is the region’s business aviation event: aircraft on static display, an exhibition hall and a conference programme, aimed at owners, operators, brokers and buyers. We plan exhibition and conference transport for aviation teams at this site every show year. Below is what the organiser has published and how we’d plan three days at DWC.
When and where is MEBAA Show 2026?
The organiser, MEBAA Show, lists 8–10 December 2026 at the DWC, Dubai Airshow Site, open 10:00 to 17:00 on all three days. Its FAQ shows an 11:00 start on the opening Tuesday, so check your badge email before fixing the first pickup.
| Edition | Dates | Venue | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 10–12 December 2024 | Dubai World Central, Dubai Airshow Site | Held |
| 2026 | 8–10 December 2026 (Tuesday–Thursday), 10:00–17:00 | DWC, Dubai Airshow Site | Confirmed by the organiser |
| 2027 | No show; MEBAA Show runs in even years | n/a | The Dubai Airshow uses the site on 15–19 November 2027 |
| 2028 | Not announced yet; expected December 2028 | Expected at DWC | Check mebaa.aero |
The show alternates with the Dubai Airshow, which takes the same site in November of odd-numbered years. Our Dubai Airshow transport guide covers that one.
Who can attend
MEBAA Show is a business event and isn’t open to the general public. The FAQ says no under-18s are allowed in, and visitors register in advance with a passport copy (plus a visa copy for some nationalities and an Emirates ID for UAE residents).
The organiser’s ticket page lists a Visitor Experience Pass at USD 150 until 7 December (USD 195 standard), covering all three days, the static display and the conference sessions. A separate Runway Party ticket on Tuesday 8 December runs 4pm to 8pm and needs the visitor pass first. That party is the one evening where your car should be booked for 8pm, not 5pm.
The organiser expects more than 165 exhibiting brands, 30-plus aircraft and around 10,000 visitors.
How do you get to the Dubai Airshow Site for MEBAA?
DWC is in Dubai South, on the far side of Jebel Ali from most hotels. Our DWC airport guide puts the drive at 35–50 minutes from Dubai Marina and 45–70 minutes from Downtown or DIFC. The organiser’s venue and travel page lists four ways in:
| Option | What the organiser says | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chauffeur | Drop at the visitor parking or shuttle point; exhibitors can buy priority parking passes | Owners, executives, chalet hosts | GITEX traffic around Expo City the same days |
| Free shuttle bus | Runs on all three show days; pickup points to be confirmed | Visitors staying on the route | Timetable not published yet |
| Metro | Nearest station is Expo City (Expo 2020, Red Line), then a shuttle | Solo visitors | The station will be busy with GITEX crowds |
| Self-drive or hire car | Free visitor parking on site | Residents | Same exit wave at 5pm as everyone else |
Two more details matter. Hotels in the organiser’s Atelier by Informa programme (more than 80 across Dubai) include free daily shuttles to the show. And taxis wait outside the airport exit, though demand is high at peak times; Dubai Taxi bookings are on +971 4 208 0808.
Drop-off, parking and where chauffeurs wait
The FAQ says visitor parking at the show site is free. Exhibitors can buy priority parking and bus drop-off passes through the exhibitor portal, and those passes decide where your car can stop.
- Exhibiting or hosting a chalet? Ask your event manager for a priority parking pass for each car you’ll use. Send us the pass details and we keep the same car and chauffeur all week so the pass stays valid.
- Visiting on a badge? The car drops you at the visitor parking or shuttle point and waits in the visitor car park.
- Midday moves. Many guests go between the static display and meetings off site. Message the chauffeur 15 minutes ahead.
- The 5pm exit. We fix a named pickup point in the morning and the car is there before the halls empty.
Flying in privately? Plenty of business jets use DWC itself. Our private jet transfer service meets passengers off private flights, and the show site is then a short drive.
The GITEX clash: plan for it
This is the week’s real transport problem. Dubai Media Office’s events release lists GITEX Global at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City from 8 to 11 December, the same Tuesday to Thursday as MEBAA. GITEX expects crowds on a far larger scale, and both shows draw from the same hotels, the same Red Line and the same southern approach roads.
What we do that week:
- Arrive before 9:30am. You’re ahead of the GITEX morning wave and through the gates before the show opens.
- Leave at 4:30pm or after 6pm. Five o’clock is when both shows empty.
- Don’t count on a taxi at closing. With two shows ending together, ride-hailing waits get long.
- Book cars when you register. December also has the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (3–6 December) the weekend before, so SUVs and V-Classes go early. See our GITEX transport guide and our Dubai events calendar.
Which car, and how to book three days
- An owner or principal: a first-class sedan or a Mercedes S-Class for meetings in the car.
- A small team with samples or display kit: a large SUV.
- A delegation of 4–7: a Mercedes V-Class so everyone arrives together.
- Customers and crew in bulk: a minibus or coach. We arrange buses with a driver for group runs between hotels and DWC.
For three show days, daily hire usually beats separate transfers. The car waits at the site, handles the evening dinner, and the chauffeur learns your gate on day one.
