The next UFC event in Abu Dhabi is UFC 333 on Saturday 24 October 2026 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, headlined by Alexander Volkanovski against Movsar Evloev. From Dubai Marina it’s about an hour’s drive on the E11. Getting there is easy. Getting off Yas Island after the main event is the part to plan, so book the ride home before you book dinner.

We cover fight nights as part of our event limousine service, from Dubai and from anywhere in Abu Dhabi. This guide covers the arena’s car parks and drop-off zones, then the exit plan we use when the whole arena stands up at once.

What is the next UFC event in Abu Dhabi?

UFC 333, on Saturday 24 October 2026. The Etihad Arena UFC 333 page lists Volkanovski defending the featherweight title against Evloev, with Petr Yan defending the bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili in the co-main event. It’s the headline event of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, which the arena describes as seven days of fight action on Yas Island.

Abu Dhabi has become a regular UFC stop, organised with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi:

When the UFC announces the 2027 date, we’ll add it here.

What time does UFC 333 start, and what can you bring?

Ticketmaster lists the event at 5pm on Saturday 24 October. The main card is timed for television audiences in the US, so it runs late into the evening Abu Dhabi time, and the title fights come last. Plan for a late finish, possibly after midnight.

Arena rules that affect your car:

  • Bags: nothing larger than 30 × 30 × 15 cm, and there’s no cloakroom. Anything bigger stays in the car, which is one practical reason to have a chauffeur waiting.
  • No re-entry: the arena FAQ says tickets are single entry. Once you’re in, you stay in.
  • Age: UFC 333 has no age restriction, but under-16s must be with an adult aged 21 or over.
  • Tickets: on the arena’s booking page they started at AED 1,368 in October 2026.

How do you get from Dubai to Etihad Arena?

Take Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) south and exit for Yas Island; Etihad Arena is on Yas Bay, on the island’s waterfront. Yas Island sits on the Dubai side of Abu Dhabi, so you never cross the bridges onto Abu Dhabi island, and the only Darb gate on the way is Ghantoot on the E11.

Saturday afternoon traffic out of Dubai is usually lighter than a weekday peak; the 30-minute buffer in those numbers is for parking and security. Skipping the prelims? Leave two hours later and you’ll still be seated well before the main card. Our Dubai to Abu Dhabi distance and travel time guide has drive times for every hour of the day.

Parking and drop-off at Etihad Arena

The arena’s directions and parking page maps the car parks:

Car parkWho it’s for
P1-A and P1-BSuite, Royal, VIP and Platinum ticket holders
C37Public parking and the taxi pickup point
LifestylePublic parking
Multi-storeyPublic parking

The arena says parking in these car parks is free on scheduled event days, and its FAQ places drop-off and rideshare zones near the entrances. On a sold-out night the public car parks fill early, which is why a drop-off beats parking: the chauffeur sets you down at the entrance and then waits away from the arena until you’re ready.

Fight night exit plan: leaving Yas Island after the main event

Here’s how a UFC night ends. A title fight can finish with a knockout in the first minute or go five rounds, so nobody knows the exact time. Then the whole arena leaves in the same ten minutes. The taxi queue at C37 forms instantly, the ride-hailing apps fill up, and every car leaving Yas Bay heads for the same few junctions.

What we do instead:

  1. Pick the meeting point before you go in. Not C37, where the taxi queue is. We’ll suggest a spot in one of the public car parks or a short walk along the Yas Bay waterfront, and send you a pin.
  2. The chauffeur moves into position during the co-main event. Title fights run last, so there’s a natural window when the car can be ready without blocking a drop-off lane.
  3. You walk out, we drive off. Leaving five or ten minutes after the main event is faster than racing the crowd to the taxi rank. Once off Yas Island, the E11 back to Dubai flows well late at night; Dubai Marina is about an hour away, Downtown about 1 hour 15 minutes.
  4. Bags stay in the car. That takes care of the arena’s bag rule before you reach the gate.

An alternative is to stay on Yas Island for the night. The arena lists hotels near Etihad Arena, and we collect you the next morning instead.

Hourly hire, two transfers, or a pickup inside Abu Dhabi?

  • From Dubai, hourly hire is what we recommend. A fight night from Dubai is roughly eight to nine hours door to door. The car stays with you, there’s no night surcharge, and Salik and Darb are already in the price. Hourly hire has a 3-hour minimum.
  • Two fixed transfers only work if you’ll leave at a set time regardless of the fights, for example after the co-main event. Otherwise the return car is either waiting on you or you’re waiting on it.
  • Abu Dhabi residents can book a straight drop and pickup with our limousine service in Abu Dhabi. From Saadiyat it’s about 20 minutes.
  • Larger groups (corporate tables, fan groups) travel better together: a luxury SUV with chauffeur or a Mercedes V-Class carries up to six, and we arrange minibuses for anything larger.

For a VIP night, a Rolls-Royce or first-class sedan drop at the entrance fits the occasion; tell us your ticket category and we’ll check which drop-off zone applies.

Yas Island events through the season

Etihad Arena is a few minutes from Yas Marina Circuit, so if you’re coming back for the Formula 1 finale on 3–6 December, our Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from Dubai guide uses the same approach roads. Golf at Yas Links follows in early November. The full list is in our Dubai events calendar.

Frequently asked questions

What date is UFC Abu Dhabi?

The next UFC event in Abu Dhabi is UFC 333 on Saturday 24 October 2026 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week. The UFC also held a Fight Night at Etihad Arena on 25 July 2026. No 2027 date has been announced yet; the last two October cards were UFC 321 in 2025 and UFC 333 in 2026.

What time do the UFC fights in Abu Dhabi start?

Ticketmaster lists UFC 333 at 5pm on Saturday 24 October 2026. The preliminary fights come first, and the main card is timed for US television, so it runs late into the night in Abu Dhabi. Expect the title fights near the end of the evening and plan your ride home for a late finish.

How much do UFC tickets cost in Abu Dhabi?

On the Etihad Arena booking page, UFC 333 tickets started at AED 1,368 including VAT in October 2026, with premium categories much higher. The July 2026 Fight Night started from AED 195. Prices depend on the card and seat category, so check the official Etihad Arena page or Ticketmaster.ae before you buy.

Where do you park for Etihad Arena?

The arena’s parking map lists public parking at C37 (also the taxi pickup point), Lifestyle and the Multi-storey car park, with P1-A and P1-B reserved for Suite, Royal, VIP and Platinum guests. The arena says parking is free on event days, but car parks fill on big nights, so arrive early or use a drop-off.

How do I get from Dubai to Etihad Arena?

Drive south on Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and take the Yas Island exit; Etihad Arena is on Yas Bay. Allow about an hour from Dubai Marina and 1 hour 15–20 minutes from Downtown, plus time for security. The public alternative is a bus to Abu Dhabi and then a local bus to Yas Island, which takes much longer.
