The World Police Summit 2026 runs Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 November 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre, 9am to 5pm daily. It was first set for June and moved to November. Visitors can take the Red Line to World Trade Center station; delegations usually come by car from Sheikh Zayed Road hotels, dropped at the entrance on their badge.
This is a police and security summit with ministers of interior and police chiefs among the delegates, so the transport questions are about protocol as much as roads. We plan conference transport for delegations in Dubai, and this guide covers the fifth edition at DWTC.
World Police Summit 2026: dates, hours and passes
The World Police Summit website gives 16–18 November 2026, 9am to 5pm, at Dubai World Trade Centre. The Dubai Media Office announcement confirms the dates and says the summit is organised by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE, under the UAE Ministry of Interior and the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The Dubai Media Office tied the move to a fuller 2026 agenda and gave no other reason. Some listings still show the old June dates; the summit’s own site and the Media Office both say November.
Who travels to the World Police Summit?
The Media Office lists ministers of interior, police chiefs and international experts, plus representatives of the UN, Interpol and Europol and delegations from Europe, the US, Latin America, Africa, China and Russia. The FAQ adds the wider audience: law enforcement professionals, security experts, policymakers, researchers and technology providers.
That gives you four groups with different needs on the same three days:
- Senior delegations. A minister or police chief with an aide, a liaison officer and sometimes their own security. They move on a protocol timetable and need a car that waits.
- Speakers and session delegates. Officers and experts who need to be in a session room at a set time and back at the hotel by evening.
- Exhibitors and technology suppliers. Teams with demo kit (drones, biometrics, surveillance gear) arriving before 9am and leaving after 5pm.
- Free-pass visitors. Professionals walking the exhibition floor. The metro suits most of them.
Getting to DWTC for the summit
DWTC’s getting here page lists its own metro station, 7,530 parking spaces in six paid and two free car parks, onsite valet and direct access from Sheikh Zayed Road.
| Option | Route | Our view |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai Metro | Red Line to World Trade Center station | Easiest for single visitors; the station sits by the Sheikh Saeed Halls |
| Chauffeur | Hotel to your hall’s entrance (Convention Gate, Exhibition Gate, Concourse 1, Arena Plaza or a Za’abeel Entrance) | Right for delegations and anyone with off-site meetings |
| Taxi | Drop at the hall entrance; pick up at the taxi rank by Convention Gate | Fine for one-way trips; queues at 5pm |
| Self-drive | Paid and free DWTC car parks, plus valet | Arrive early and park by your hall |
DWTC has two hotels on site, the Novotel and the ibis World Trade Centre, and DIFC and Downtown are a short drive away. Our DWTC parking and gates guide explains which entrance serves which hall.
Car plans for an interior ministry or police delegation
We work from the delegation’s manifest and roles. For a typical senior delegation:
- Principal’s car. A Mercedes S-Class with chauffeur or BMW 7 Series for the minister or chief, with the aide in the front seat or a second car.
- Delegation car. A large SUV such as a GMC Yukon or Cadillac Escalade for liaison officers and staff, travelling in the same movement.
- Staff and media. A Mercedes V-Class for up to six, or a minibus for a bigger group on the same schedule.
- Spare. One standby car near DWTC for the schedule change that always comes.
Two things we’re clear about. We supply RTA-licensed cars and chauffeurs; we don’t provide close protection or armed security. Police escorts and route security for visiting ministers are arranged with the host authorities, and if a delegation has its own security officer, that officer sets the movement plan and our chauffeur follows it.
Then the logistics: send the manifest with names, titles, flights and hotels two weeks out; tell us which entrance each person’s badge names; and give us one contact who can change the plan. Our delegation transport checklist has the full version, and our corporate chauffeur service handles government and company accounts with VAT invoices.
The same week: Dubai Future Week along Sheikh Zayed Road
Dubai Future Week runs 18–21 November 2026 at Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future, a short way down Sheikh Zayed Road from DWTC. It overlaps the summit’s final day, Wednesday 18 November, so expect heavier traffic around the Trade Centre interchanges that morning and at 5pm.
The week after, Big 5 Global fills DWTC from 23 to 26 November. If your delegation stays on in Dubai, our Dubai events calendar lists what’s on through the winter.
General timing on summit days: Sheikh Zayed Road is heavy in both directions from about 6 to 10am and 4 to 8pm on weekdays. The 9am opening lands in the morning peak and the 5pm close lands in the evening one, so we schedule the morning drop for 8:30am and agree the evening pickup point before the delegate goes in.
