The DP World Tour Championship 2026 runs Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates, on Dubai’s southern edge. On-site parking is limited and costs AED 50 if you pre-book, a free shuttle runs from Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station, and taxis drop inside the estate. The easiest day out is a drop-off plus a timed pickup.
It’s the last event of the DP World Tour season, the week the Race to Dubai champion is crowned, and the crowd is a mix of golf travellers, residents taking the free Thursday, and hospitality guests. We plan event limousine and chauffeur transport for all three. Below: the roads in, the car parks, the shuttle hours and the closing times that decide how you get home.
When is the DP World Tour Championship 2026?
The DP World Tour lists the championship for 12–15 November 2026 on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates, and Dubai Media Office carries the same dates in its November 2026 sports calendar. Thursday is free with pre-registration. The weekend is paid, and the venue shuts earlier on Thursday and Sunday.
| Day | Date | General admission (2026 price) | Venue closes | Car parks close |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Thursday | 12 Nov | Free, pre-registration required | 7pm | 7:30pm |
| Friday | 13 Nov | AED 60 | 8pm | 8:30pm |
| Saturday | 14 Nov | AED 160 | 8pm | 8:30pm |
| Sunday | 15 Nov | AED 160 | 7pm | 7:30pm |
Children aged 17 and under go free on every day, but each child needs a registered ticket, and you can redeem up to four general admission tickets per day. Prices and closing times are from the DP World Tour’s 2026 ticket and travel pages.
DP World Tour Championship 2027 and 2028
| Edition | Dates | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 13–16 November 2025 | Last edition, Jumeirah Golf Estates |
| 2026 | 12–15 November 2026 | Confirmed by the DP World Tour |
| 2027 | Not announced yet | Usually mid-November, the week the season ends |
| 2028 | Not announced yet | Usually mid-November |
The last two editions both ran Thursday to Sunday in the middle of November. We’ll update this table when the tour publishes its 2027 schedule.
Where is Jumeirah Golf Estates, and which road gets you in?
Jumeirah Golf Estates sits beside Dubai Production City, near the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). The organiser’s directions funnel everyone from Dubai onto Al Fay Road, whether you start on Sheikh Zayed Road, the E311 or Al Khail Road. Once inside the estate, event signs split traffic between drop-off and car parks.
From Al Fay Road, stay straight with Production City on your right. Just after it, keep right, take the exit to the roundabout and follow the event signs. Coming from Abu Dhabi, take the E311 towards Dubai and Sharjah and pick up the DP World Tour Championship signs from there.
There’s one thing first-timers miss: the estate is big, and signs inside it send taxis, public parking and hospitality guests to different places. Tell your chauffeur which ticket you hold before you set off.
Four ways to get to the DP World Tour Championship
| Option | How it works in 2026 | Best for | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chauffeur or taxi drop-off | Inside the estate, follow event signs to the taxi drop-off area | Groups, hospitality guests, anyone not driving home | Agree the pickup point before you walk in |
| Public car park | AED 50 per car booked online in advance, AED 80 on arrival, Thursday to Sunday | Early arrivals who’ll leave before closing | Limited spaces; no overnight parking; towing after hours |
| Metro and free shuttle | Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station, then a free shuttle about every 30 minutes | Solo visitors on a budget | Shuttle runs to the course 6am–1pm and back to the station 1:30pm–8pm |
| Hospitality Car Park 2 | Park on site, then a free buggy to the main entrance tent | Hospitality ticket holders | Hospitality guests only |
The metro station is one of the underground stops on the Red Line branch to Expo City. It works well for a morning arrival. It works less well for a 7pm finish on Thursday or Sunday, because the shuttle back to the station stops at 8pm and every shuttle runs “subject to traffic”, in the organiser’s words. The full timetable is on the DP World Tour’s 2026 travel information page.
The exit plan: closing times and the 30-minute car park rule
Here’s the bit that catches drivers out. Every car park closes 30 minutes after the venue, and the organiser bans overnight parking in the public and hospitality car parks. Cars left after closing are fined and towed at the owner’s expense. So if your group plans a long session at The Greatest Bar on Earth by the 17th green (it needs a Ticket+ upgrade), nobody should be the designated driver.
Sunday is the day everyone stays to the end. The final groups come up the 18th, the Race to Dubai is settled, and the drop-off area fills in the last hour before the 7pm close. Leaving 30 minutes before the final putt, or 30 minutes after the crowd, makes a real difference.
How we run golf-day pickups:
- The chauffeur doesn’t sit in the drop-off lane. The car waits nearby and comes in when you message.
- Message when you start walking. It’s a long walk from the 18th to the drop-off, so the car is usually there before you.
Traffic on the southern routes that week
Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November are working days, so the afternoon rush on Sheikh Zayed Road, the E311 and Al Khail Road overlaps with people leaving the course. Our Dubai rush hour guide has the times by road. If you’re heading back to Downtown or DIFC on Thursday, leaving at 4pm beats leaving at 6pm.
The rest of the month is just as busy. Dubai Media Office lists the Emaar Dubai Premier Padel P1 (8–15 November) and the Dubai T100 Triathlon (13–15 November) in the same week, and the Dubai Fitness Challenge runs all month. Dubai Run closes Sheikh Zayed Road the Sunday after, and the Emirates Dubai 7s close out the month on Al Ain Road. Our Dubai events calendar has the full autumn.
Which car for a day at the golf?
| Your party | Car we’d send | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 hospitality guests | Mercedes S-Class | A quiet car and room to take calls on the way back |
| 3–4 friends | Large SUV such as a GMC Yukon or Escalade | Room for four adults, with bottled water in the car after a long walk |
| 5–7 people | Mercedes V-Class | One car, one pickup, everyone home together |
| 8 or more, corporate groups | Van or minibus with driver | One vehicle beats three cars hunting for each other at the drop-off |
You can book a drop-off and a fixed pickup, or hourly hire with a 3-hour minimum if your plans may change. Hourly suits Sunday, when nobody knows how long the final round will run. Our prices include fuel, Salik and VAT, with free cancellation up to 6 hours before pickup.
Frequently asked questions
Is the DP World Tour Championship free to attend?
Thursday 12 November is free, but you must pre-register a ticket. Friday general admission is AED 60, and Saturday and Sunday are AED 160 each, at the DP World Tour’s 2026 prices. Children aged 17 and under go free every day, though each child still needs a registered ticket to get in.
What is the nearest metro station to Jumeirah Golf Estates?
Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station, an underground stop on the Red Line branch to Expo City. During the championship, free shuttle buses loop between the station and the venue about every 30 minutes: 6am to 1pm towards the course and 1:30pm to 8pm back to the station. Traffic can stretch the gaps.
How much is parking at the DP World Tour Championship?
The public car park costs AED 50 per car booked online in advance or AED 80 paid on arrival, Thursday to Sunday. Spaces are limited. Car parks close 30 minutes after the venue, and overnight parking is banned, with fines and towing for cars left behind.
When is the DP World Tour Championship 2027?
The 2027 dates haven’t been announced. The championship is the season finale and has run in mid-November at Jumeirah Golf Estates: 13–16 November in 2025 and 12–15 November in 2026. The dates arrive with the DP World Tour’s 2027 schedule, and we add them to this page and our events calendar when they do.
Can taxis drop off at the DP World Tour Championship?
Yes. Taxis, Uber, Careem and private cars drop off inside Jumeirah Golf Estates; follow the event signs to the taxi drop-off area once you’re in the estate. Agree a pickup time and meeting spot before you go in, because most of the crowd leaves in the last hour before closing.
